While most reviews were good, sometimes that's not the whole story. But, this rack turned out to be a great purchase. The price was very good. It was well packed and arrived very quickly. All the necessary parts were there, and a generous supply of 5mm and 6mm screws with washers. It can be assembled to handle either size. Aside from a parts checklist, there was no documentation in the box. I took a few minutes to watch a video about assembly, but it was pretty evident how it went together. I just didn't want to make a dumb mistake. Note that the wheels come already mounted to the base. Just be sure that the wheels with the locks go on the front. So, the rack is very sturdy. You cannot go wrong with how strong the steel is here. I was afraid that 4 front screws wouldn't be strong enough to hold my heavy Roland synth without some kind of support rail along the back, but it holds on tight defying my conceptions of the laws of torque.

I bought this rack for a small 70-seat theatre’s dimmer system. The old 5’ rack was a mess and 80% empty and in the way. This is perfect and it holds the weight beautifully! Assembly was easy and well designed. The wheels come pre-installed that is a huge benefit! So far, 100% Satisfaction!

I purchased this for my son as a way to consolidate various audio/studio and computer gear. I've worked in IT most of my career and have seen some pretty cheap racks before and wasn't expecting too much in the way of quality when I purchased this but was (pleasantly) surprised at it's construction and overall quality. The instructions were decent and assembly only took a few minutes for me to put it together (you'll need an extra set of hands for some of it) A power screwdriver would be handy but not required. I had no issues with the included hardware but I did purchase extra rack screws to be on the safe side as a few buyers mentioned they had problems with some of the hardware (I didn't). The packaging was done well and it arrived undamaged. The rack's finish was good too - it looks professional and more expensive than it is. I don't think I would ship gear installed in it or move it very often (like from room to room, etc.) but the castors are decent enough (again compared to what I was expecting for the price paid). This might make a good choice for home theater A/V gear but keep in mind that it does not have a front or back to it so if your setup isn't in it's own closet or room it may not be the right choice. ... show more

You've undoubtedly noticed there are a multitude of ways to spend loads of cash on a simple rack. If you're looking for a rack meticulously handcrafted from the finest old-growth Limousine oak by Benedictine monks with hand-forged Damascus steel rails and a price tag to match, you can probably find it. If what you need is a clean, modern, sturdy, aesthetically pleasing rack that looks and functions like it belongs in a 21st-century studio, look no further. Assembly is straightforward, the resulting unit being well-supported and rolls easily. The powdercoated finish is fitting for either a home or professional setting. The casters have wheel locks - a nice feature. You have a choice when installing the rails such that either the 6mm European or 5mm American formats are on the mounting side. As with any fasteners, do not overtighten. I experienced no issues or disappointments, only complete satisfaction. ... show more

I wanted an affordable rack to store some vintage analogue audio gear. The AxcessAbles looked to be perfect from the description. Happily, it was. Although no instructions or even a pictorial were provided, it became quickly self-evident how it assembled. It took all of 20 minutes. All the hardware and a Philips screwdriver were provided. I preferred to use my own larger Philips screwdriver. The machining on the pieces was excellent. I experienced no cross threading or difficult to start issues. Both 5mm (US standard) and 6mm (Euro standard) screws are provided. The mounting strips can be flipped depending on region of use. Paint finish on the pieces is excellent with the exception of some minor scratches on one panel that was a result of shipping issues. I'm very pleased with the end result. ... show more
