It's a you tube video for help , unless you've installed an awning before research you tube. The valance is a bit of a chore but you'll get it done. This cover is made for camper awning replacement. But I had a free home mounted awning that had a destroyed cover. And for the price I figured give it a try. It worked very well. Camper awnings roll from the front and are stationary in the rear. The home mount one is the opposite. But it went in the groves in basically the same manner. So it operates just fine. After the two main holders are in the groves the front overhang slots in the same way the directions say for the camper roller. Over all it works great. And looks good. It seems well made. Bought this awning fabric to replace old clothe fabric that was torn. I was very worried that it wouldn’t fit into “non-RV hardware”. It worked great even though the instructions weren’t prevalent. The awning was good quality, very easy to install and fit perfectly. We had a delivery issue in the beginning but the seller was very quick to respond and resolved our issue very quickly. I would order again if I need to replace my awning again. I would recommend.
