This awning looks great but not because of the ease of installation. Yes, there is a video that can help but they go too fast and not good at showing the minute details of the install. The wall anchors were not appropriate to our home’s siding so we had to make a trip to the hardware store for supplies. Because our install was several feet off the ground and our awning was in two sections it was tricky to slide and set the two together while on ladders. As well to level, mark and drill holes for attaching to the house. But, once done, it seems to be of good quality, provides a soft shading where needed, and looks very attractive. (Had recently cut down pine trees for fire safety but missed the shade properties). I imagine one section would be fairly easy to install but with more than one prepare to scratch your head. It’s doable but give yourself time to think it through and have a partner handy if construction is not your bag. ... show more

The product itself is nice and very good looking. However, the instructions left a lot to be desired. They were on the plastic you peeled off the panels and they were very basic pictures. Separate install instructions with words would be a good idea! We bought these to help keep water off our patio when it rains. It has helped. ... show more

Very nice product, Easy installation. Shipping took over a month. Package was damaged and the awning plastic was scratched. I used mine in the back side of my home so the scratches were not a big issue to me but could be to others.

Ordered on March 10th, received April 5th. Some of the aluminum pieces were slightly pinched together on the ends, straightened them out without any problems. No instructions included, however the video online helped. I had no problem assembling these, had 12 total. We did one complete and then added each section until completed. I bought a box of small stainless steel screws to replace the cheap aluminum ones that came with it. Took us about 4 hours to get all 12 sections up. Added a bead of silicone to the back edge and now they look great. ... show more
