I absolutely love this kit! It has everything you need to plant your bonsai trees. The little tools are so cute but very helpful in the process especially to break up the soil discs included. The planting bags are amazing. They have a drainage hole at the bottom to avoid root rot. Please make sure you read the booklet included because it really does go over everything which was appreciated. I had sprouting within a few days. Three of the seeds did not germinate but it’s possible it’s due to the weather changing and temps dropping in my area. I will try again in the spring which the extra seeds they send you in the kit. I planted them about two months ago and the seeds that sprouted have continued to grow. It is a challenge however, with the temps as I mentioned. My daughter and I had fun planting the bonsai trees. I noticed they have other kits too and I can’t wait to try them. Not only was this a great mother-daughter activity, it encouraged discussing the plant cycle for my homeschooled child. Such a great bonsai kit! 🌿 I bought it for myself, and I’m so glad I did. The kit comes with everything you need: tools, planters, and of course, seeds for five unique Japanese bonsai trees. Everything is well-organized, and the instructions are clear and detailed, making the whole process even more enjoyable. Planting the trees has been not only rewarding but also very meditative. This was a Christmas present for my boyfriend! We had a lot of fun doing this and everything was great. Got multiple sprouts from every single seed pack and they’re coming along good. Came with LOTS of extra seeds and the book is for informative. The ONLY issue is that the soil discs im pretty sure had gnat eggs because now all a sudden I’ve got gnats and this is the only new soil/plants I’ve had around. I bought this for my boyfriend for Valentine’s Day!! He loved it! And wanted to start trying to garden. I sowed the seeds for him on the 10th and after 7-8 days he told me two seeds in one basket have started to sprout. It’s a great starter kit! Easy to put together.
