I know this is considered a treatment but I use it every shampoo as a conditioner. It only takes a dime size amount and it works beautifully. I have shoulder length fine hair so it does not take much. I have used this product for around 15 years never finding anything better.

It was expensive, but my hair is so damaged I had to spend more money and buy the shampoo and conditioner. Overall, very good; but, if your hair is about to break off because of unintended chemical frying, buy the shampoo et al.

I like Aveeda products as a rule. I like how this smells. I used as a deep conditioner once so far I’ve noticed a significant reduction in hair loss. A few strands instead of clumps. I will update over time. But thumbs up from me 😄

    • Expensive, but actually worth it
It is expensive. However, I had wasted money on other products before finding this one. My hair was dry and frizzy from dyeing it and then having the color removed with an ammonia product at an Aveda salon. The Aveda customer service Chat directed me to leave it on washed hair for five minutes, then rinse out, and that I could use it every other day. Now, I squeeze out a tiny bit onto a wetted palm, working it through my towel-dried hair, and then styling. With this product, remember that less is more. I still have a frizzy product from this humid climate, but not because my hair is dry and damaged. ... show more
