It's a typical particle board shelf. Not going to survive a hurricane, but looks decent when built. Pretty pricey, but then again what isn't inflated in the Biden world we live in currently. Instructions and parts/holes/pieces all lined up fine on 3 of these that I built so far. My main complaint would be the misleading photos that show a one piece unit from top to bottom.
