There is a little gap halfway up the rack that gets on my nerves. I wish it had a base to make it less tipsy. I didn't drill holes in the wall and install the bracket like they recommend because I might want to move it sometime. It seems stable enough after you put the cds in. I definitely feel like I got robbed. It isn't easy to find a shelf this size which is why I bought it. This is about as low quality as you can get, but it does functionally work. At least the finish "looks" decent. You have to drill into the side of it, and the screws show but they give you "stickers" to cover it. Definitely not worth $80+. I did not have a hard time at all putting this together. The backing isn’t one that is nailed in, either, it’s a thick cardboard that slides into place so there’s a smaller chance of the back falling apart like the walmart shelves. Clearly holds plenty of books, and fits well in smaller spaces. It is as tall as the Mainstays walmart bookshelves if you’re like me and need them to be the some height. ... show more
