I like this small heater it puts out good amount of heat for our sometimes cold garage in S.C, only problem I have is it has a 3 pin plug whose cord is too short, have to buy a 3 pin extension, also the base is not that great easily tips over because of short length of cord.     • High cost NO reward
I bought this originally as a way to keep my pet birds warm during the winter. Out of the box it seems good. Solidly built appliance. However the heat output is a joke. Maybe it was ok for the birds but not for people. Forst off, it uses a TON of energy. It caused one of my breakers to switch. I checked the meter outside when it's running, and it's spinning as if I were using thr laundry machine. Seriously, nuts for what it does, which is NOTHING. You cannot feel the heat off this thing. It is hot 6 inches away, no more. I aimed this right at my legs while watching TV, maybe 3 feet from me, NOTHING, NADA. You hear the fan running, but by the time it gets to you the heat has already dissipated. Waste of money, don't buy it. ... show more

I am deployed to Iraq it is the desert but it is winter and it gets cold at night. I bought this heater for the hangar thinking it would blow alot of heat. Well not so much, it does heat but you have to be right next to it. It is a one person heater. Good for small spaces, I was hoping the fan would be more powerful and blow the hot air further. The media could not be loaded. I love love love this little heater! It puts out an incredible amount of heat to be such a small heater it's very versatile and rugged it's made very well. It's durable and even comes with a remote that works nicely. If for some reason you can't get it to turn on look on the left side of it it's got a main power switch that you just flip to the right and once you see the two dashes that will appear on the LED display on the top of it you'll know that you've switched it in the on position and then you can remove the plastic strip from the bottom portion of the remote that comes with it. Once you've done that you can then adjust the heat setting by pressing the setting button in the upper left-hand portion of your remote or by touching the touch buttons on the top of the heater itself. There are three settings there is a low medium and high heat setting it will read on the LED display is l1 l2 l3. It also comes with a great timer that is very accurate and works fantastically to shut off your heater at whatever timer setting preference that you desire. It can be set in 1 hour increments from 1:00 to 12 hours. It's a 1500 w heater that is capable of heating from between 200 ft to 250 square feet according and depending on what which setting you set it on whether it's the low medium or high setting. It also as I was reading in the owner's manual has a self reset thermometer that fills the air inlet temperature and controls the room temperatures the self reset thermostat will shut off the heater by overheating to ensure safety the fan motor is not controlled by the thermostat when the thermostat cuts off the heater stops working. I personally prefer these over other larger space heaters because of the fact that it's so rugged and versatile and I worked outside on the back porch a lot doing my tie dye art so I would much rather have something like this out there with me that's going to keep constant heat blowing towards me to keep me warm over the traditional space heaters that I would not dare take outside there too nice and they're not built for outdoor conditions like these are and I love the swivel bar on the bottom of it that is very easy to set in the direction that you choose. I love the remote and how it's not full of a bunch of buttons and complicated things. It's very easy to use and I also like the handle on the top because it's easy to carry it from room to room for whatever I'm doing at the moment. This is an awesome heater and don't let the size fool you just because it's small doesn't mean that it's weak in any way this little heater is fantastic! ... show more

    • Puts out heat but...
I bought this to place on the table next to us while we're working in our barn. I wasn't expecting a ton of heat. Considering what it is, it seems to work fine. However when delivered, it was missing one of the knobs used to hold the steel bar base. So I had to add my own washer and locking nut so it would stand up safely. Not enough for me to return it, but enough for me to know there was no quality assurance checking this package prior to shipment, as it was incredibly obvious it was missing two pieces. Keep in mind, there is no assembly required! I've only had it for a day, but so far it's not bad, but be wary that it may be missing components, so that you can run it safely. ... show more
