The media could not be loaded. I have had a myriad of different car audio setups throughout my lifetime; JL 13w7 in the HO wedge box, two Alpine Type X in sealed and ported boxes, etc. I purchased two of these subs (and had to run them at 4 ohm because after trying to order the 2 ohm version 3 times, Amazon sent me the 4 ohm version every time!) But even with this setup not being able to achieve my amp's full output at 1 ohm, these subs in my custom built box (ideal to manufacturer spec) absolutely take my breath away. The sound quality is mind boggling for such an inexpensive driver, and I'd absolutely compare it to that of the JL. Is it all the way there? Of course not. Will it last as long as the JL? Only time will tell. I initially purchased these subs because I noticed the high sensitivity and wanted to test how important that spec was. To say I'm impressed is a dramatic understatement! Buy these subs, give them 2 cubic feet PER SUB with a properly tuned port, and these will be the last subs you need to blow your vehicle apart with a smile on your face :) Way to go Audiopipe!!! ... show more

This subwoofer is amazing. I have a 2,000 rms amp to it, and it is handling it, no problem. This sub under rated. Should be rated 2,000 rms, not 1,100. Great buy for price, just ordered a second one

I purchased this sub to replace a sundown that didn't survive. I had somewhat low expectations. All that I can say is WOW! I'm absolutely blown away by this sub. Mounted in a ported enclosure tuned to 32 htz, running off if a ssl evo 4000 class d. This thing is wicked and has definitely impressed me. If you're considering this sub....just get it, you won't be sorry ... show more

This sub is a beast. It moves a lot of air and hits very low. It does great around 32 hertz but it does not hit hard at anything above that, like for your 40 hrtz range. Maybe it was the box i had it in. It was a little too big for it. Im sure thats what it was. But overall i live this sub. Its very durable. Although the condition it arrived in seemed like it was used. The terminals on it were almost cracked. Id send it back but im already passed the 30 days. ... show more

This driver is beautiful I love the clean look it has. I replaced my two kicker comp r for just one of these and the sound is deeper and it hits harder then both of them did. I’m very pleased with this purchase. But like always I’m use to it now so ordering another one 🤦 lol. FYI this sub is very power hungry it takes anything you throw at it. ... show more

I purchased this for my daily driver honda to have a bit more "bang" than the powerbass 3xl12 I had in it previously. Let me just say this, I didn't even think of these at first. I was about ready to pull the trigger on a certain "EVL" subwoofer, when my buddy reminded of these. I COULDN'T be happier with my choice to go audiopipe. I have it on a HELIX B One amp at 1ohm (950rms) and its loving it, even in an atrend prefab (for now) the surround is HUGE (the same size, if not bigger than my sundown x12s) and gives the woofer a big, beefy look.
