They are sheer but the embellishments does obscure their sheerness. I don't mind because they are beautiful. It's difficult to tell exactly what color they actually are-more toward white or more toward beige? In person I would describe them as the color of an ivory wedding dress or bone. As fas as value for money I personally think 33.00 for one curtain panel expensive. So though they are beautiful if I had needed more than one I would have gone a different route. For "wrinkle free" not really. I expect just about anything right out of the package will be wrinkled but with other curtains I'd wash, then dry or hang dry and if still wrinkled I would have ironed them, but with the embellishments and pearls I was afraid to instantly ruin my ๐Ÿ˜ณ๐Ÿ˜ณ $33.00 curtain panel so yes they are wrinkled-if it persists after hanging a couple days I'll give them a spray of wrinkled remover and I'm sure they will be fine. ... show more

These curtains are really lovely and seem to be well made. I purchased the brown panels late in 2019 for a slider. I also purchased other curtains and decided to use them for the spring/summer. Now that it's fall (writing Oct 2020), I wanted to switch to the brown curtains. I put them up and realized I needed more (I like them bunchy) so I ordered them and the colors are completely different (see pic). So, I ordered more and I'm mixing them in and it will look alright. The moral of this story is: If you think you might need more, order them at the same time or you may get a different shade of whatever color you originally chose. ... show more

Really nice sheer panels. Too old to go out shopping trying to find panels like these, or to sew anymore; and tho I've never paid $30 for a 'sheer' panel, these are so worth it. We tinkered for days between the lighter brown/gold, and the darker brown. Our living room is a combo of both; loved the warmer light br.& gold panel- it brought out the warmer couch color which we didn't want to happen! The darker brown panel complimented the tables/lamps/flooring better and more evenly, so that's what we went with. We used 6 panels, kept a beige sheer in-between, as using any more of the decorative panels would have hidden some of the beautiful embroidery. And they are sheer- but we have blinds for privacy.
