I ordered this to use as a wall in my 10x10 canopy tent. The sides don't reach and I have a 8-12" gap on either side. Hubby noticed that the corners extend farther out making it technically a 10x10 but it really isn't. I can make it work but I ordered a 10x10...expect it to be a 10x10. Good quality, this type of mess is not rain proof which I knew. You do have to buy the installation nails and hooks/lumber separately because it only comes with a rope. I bought this to provide some type of shade for my dog in the NM heat. So far she likes it and it does keep the ground cooler for her as the sun moves throughout the day. What I am most concerned about of the NM wind. We do get strong winds here so I most likely will have to take it down for a windy day to preserve it. But so far so good! ... show more

I bought the 8' x 18' for our deck. Just happened to find a few of these adjustable support poles in the garbage the week before. Who knew they would come in handy this soon. Good thing I bought the hardware kit as well. Would have been a big waste of time had I not. Only took about an hour to set up. What a difference this has made when the sun is beating down. Will be even better after the bug zapper arrives next week. When winter arrives, take down will be a matter of a few minutes. EXCELLENT! ... show more

These were a replacement for another set so all the attachments points are already installed and they sag :( Three are a PITA to put up by myself so I didn't want to take them down, fold them up, ship back, reorder, and put them back up. I use this to cover up an area where my gazebo was ruined by the snow and the four poles were still standing so I use it to cover up and it makes a great sunshine. I take it down in the winter.
