    • More Economical Alternative to Brand Bottled Water

For years, we used to have a water dispenser with water jug delivery, but, aside from the extra expense, I could not pick up anything heavier than a 5 gallon jug. Then, I couldn't flip it over fast enough to install it. We went back to regular bottled water, bottles and jugs. The 2.5 gallon dispenser-style jugs we've been buying for 5 years now, are a retail grocery store brand for about $3.00 for a 2.5 gallon. The jugs might be made from recycled plastic because the plastic is thin, and collapses easily. Earlier this year we started to get slow leakers. They would be okay to bring them home, but after a couple weeks, there would be small leaks on the bottoms of the jugs. The store refunded our money, which was nice, but it was also time consuming for us. So, I found these 2 gallon dispenser jugs online, and will now take them to the water dispenser at the store, and pay $.35/gallon to fill them. So far, so good. Upon receipt, I took them apart to clean them, reassembled them, and started using them. We'll see how the spigot performs over time. ... show more

Bought to use in my RV & the slimness makes it perfect to set on my countertop & have water easily accessible. No leaks from the spout but the lid on top does leak if it’s carried on its side the way it’s designed. Since I don’t need to carry it like that I’m keeping it. But if you wanted to carry it full of a beverage it would definitely leak out when using the handle ... show more

The shape and size is perfect for my little apartment, fits perfectly into the little nook I catered for it. It’s also very lightweight so if I wanted to take it with me to the beach or a bbq lime it would be easy. Highly recommend it!

I bought 8 of the various Arrow models to use in home gardening as water reservoirs for Blumat clay autowatering stakes. Added food coloring so I can see the water level and it really looks attractive. Holds a lot of water so don't have to refill often. Should be easy to clean. All are working well so far. 2 gallons of water is heavy (handle helps) and although compact still would take up a lot of space in the fridge. I did test out the spigot and it works well, doesn't leak. So if I throw a party or have guests staying with me, I could wash one out and use as a drinks container.     • Functional, but made of flimsy plastic and its not easy to clean.

I've used mine for a while now, with various drinks but mostly water. the material isn't concerningly thin but its still quite flimsy. the handle is pretty useless for carrying it since the cap on the top leaks easily, and tightening it doesn't help due to the lack of a proper O ring on the cap. the spout doesn't leak however and does have a proper O ring, which is nice since that's the part that will actually be in contact with the contents most of the time. when i tried to clean it, i found that the cap on the top was too small to get an arm into, and i had to get a rather long dish brush to clean it, which made it difficult to get all the surfaces inside clean. I managed to get the spout apart to clean it, but i had to use a screwdriver to push the plunger up so that i could disassemble it, and it had grown something after a couple of weeks, which concerns me. The large capacity is nice, and the shape is convenient for a desk or refrigerator too. it is also fairly easy to use and isn't messy. the top cap does leak easily if you tip it over, but it also manages to easily vapor lock the container if its tightened while you dispense your drink. ... show more
