I needed a new ice tea refrigerator jug. My old one was just a tad large for the new refrigerator and hubby wouldn’t make sure it was pushed back all the way on the shelf. Had it for at least 8 years and it finally cracked above the spout. The new fridge has the door in the door so shelving inside not as deep. Hard to find a 2 gallon jug to fit. This one fits better than the old one just a tad lower in ht and depth. No leaks and seems as well made as the last one. Measurement wise these are all front to back longer than stated measurements. I don’t know why the manufacturer can’t list the actual measurements as that would take the guesswork out of getting these. Mint fits so tight to the lid that I am unable to loosen the lid for allowing air in and keeping it flowing well. I heated up my ice pick and poked 2 holes in the lid and it works perfectly. One could use a drill but this was easier for me. :) I would definitely buy again but only time will tell if it will last as long as my first one from K Mart. ... show more

I like this container but had to remove one star because two containers were ordered and one was received broken. It was split above the spout and had no sign of shipping damage. That implies it was shipped that way. I would not recommend using this for carbonated drinks unless the top cap is left open. The spout is not strong enough to resist the pressure created from the carbonation and will leak. I prefer my drinks without the fizz so it fits my needs fine. Update Sept 2015: The original two containers are still going strong. In the meantime, I've bought three more to use in the laundry room. They work great except for one minor point. Because the detergent and fabric softener are a bit viscous, they both want to drip a little after use. The solution is truly simple; just drab each one with an article of clothing to be washed before throwing it into the machine. It's like wiping the spout's runny nose. All of the new containers were received in perfect condition. I'm chalking of the early failure to a shipping issue and giving this product its 5th star back. ... show more

Here is a lesson bae, "If you come at the King you best not miss," my bad I had a Wire flashback moment. I ordered two but only have used one. Two yrs later I tried the second one and it leaked. The lesson is, CHECK BOTH EVEN if you are not going to use them immediately. However, very pleased with the one that did work and will buy again BUT THIS TIME, I will cheCK IMMEDIATELY. ... show more

I bought 8 of the various Arrow models to use in home gardening as water reservoirs for Blumat clay autowatering stakes. Added food coloring so I can see the water level and it really looks attractive. Holds a lot of water so don't have to refill often. Should be easy to clean. All are working well so far. 2 gallons of water is heavy (handle helps) and although compact still would take up a lot of space in the fridge. I did test out the spigot and it works well, doesn't leak. So if I throw a party or have guests staying with me, I could wash one out and use as a drinks container. Now we'll see how long they last in the Florida sun. ... show more

    • Started leaking quickly from spout and seams. Not good quality
I noticed about week 3, the spout leaked just a bit. I use for my distilled water I make and keep on counter. I was noticing the counter was always wet, but chalked it up to maybe sink water splashed or something. Then I noticed the spout had a small slow leak, so I figured I'd just sit it up when not needing to put water in it or pour water from it. Again, water on counter. I finally took a solid look at it after I filled up and after finding water again on counter and noticing the jug looked almost an inch low. Well, the seam is leaking, not only the spout. Both leak. I made the mistake of not realizing it was actually a piece of trash intimidate 29 of owning it, so can't return. Check for leaks as one person said when you get it, but keep an eye out first couple weeks. I didn't and although it arrived fine, it started leaking quickly. Unless my experience is rare, I wouldn't suggest this jug. Yes it's inexpensive and boa free, but I will be investing in something a bit sturdier. Maybe it's not meant for daily use. Very cheap and not one solid piece of plastic. It's 2 halves connected and clearly not connected well as the seams leak no matter how I sit the jug. Do yourself a favor and buy a better one. ... show more

    • High quality, solid construction
This container is perfect for storing a cold drink in the refrigerator (or anywhere really). The container material is solid and exact to the measurements stated here on Amazon. The spigot is well made and best of all it doesn't leak or drip at all, when it's off it's off. The only drawback we found was that the screw on lid had to be backed off about a full turn to break suction and allow the fluid to run out properly. This is a pretty common thing to deal with when you have gravity fed fluid and semi-sealed containers so not really a big thing to deal with. Overall, very satisfied! ... show more

    • Nice size but the lid leaks
The handle is on the same side as the spout. The lid is on the top. When you pick it up by the handle and the lid is on the side, the lid leaks no matter how much you tighten it. It’s just drops, but I had a puddle in my cabinet because I put it in my cabinet with the handle facing up.
