Had good reviews so made the purchase. First time out the belt broke. Replaced it in good faith. Second time using it, new belt broke within 10 minutes. Contacted warranty people but a response is pending.

most low star reviews or due to issue that would likely be discovered and corrected by servicing dealer during final inspection / setup when removing from crate- great mower- do yourself favor and search Ariens.com for a local dealer- price will be similar, you will become dealers customer and therefore be priority if warranty needed and when service is required. ... show more

Going on year 4, no issues, quality mower and a heavy duty deck which gives you a level,clean cut. I also bought the Ariens bag attachment, easy to install and does an awesome job in the fall with the leaves. Kawasaki motors runs flawlessly.
