  • Perfect fit. 100% satisfied.
Pattern Name: Tank Without Center Brace Size: 36"L x 18"W
I purchased two of these lids, they both fit perfectly on my 40 gallon breeder tank and my 65 gallon tank. Charlotte, from Pidaz called and verified the dimensions, she was very courteous, professional, and helpful. She explained the return policy **which is not free returns** I’m grateful that she took the time to call and verify and explain things before shipping the product. The aquarium glass lids are better than I expected. It was definitely worth every single penny. The glass is super clear and thick Which makes it bright and sturdy. The very back is a thick but flexible plastic. You could either cut little indents into it for tubing or cut it straight through for a backpack filter. 100% satisfied and can’t say enough good things about this company!! Will definitely use again if needed!! Again, Thank you so so much!! ... show more

  • Pretty good
Pattern Name: Tank Without Center Brace Size: 20"L x 10" W
I like the look of aquariums with no lids, but I was losing so much water to evaporation that I finally decided I needed a lid. I had a cheesy plastic lid, but it wouldn't accommodate the potato vines growing out of my tank. This glass lid allowed my potato to remain, allows me the top view of my floating plants and curious fish, reduction of evaporation, and easy partial access with a hinge in place. The fit was almost perfect, and in fact being a little short one way is advantageous, as it means I don't need to cut holes for the airline tube or heater cord. Cutting the plastic piece was pretty easy, I only needed to do one chunk of the very end. Putting the plastic onto the glass was challenging, and I thought for sure I would break the glass while trying to do it. I did eventually get it on without incident though, luckily. My aquarium is a standard 10 gallon Top Fin. ... show more

  • Well-Made, Excellent Customer Service
Pattern Name: Tank Without Center Brace Size: 20"L x 10" W
I'd been wanting glass lids for my tanks for a while. I've been doing an overhaul—I had two 10-gallon tanks, one 6-gallon tank, and one 5-gallon tank, all of which housed one betta each. To consolidate space and power a little bit, I split the two 10-gallons in half, but I was worried the bettas might jump over the divider with the slanted hood lid that came with the tanks. So I ordered two of these glass lids. The seller contacted me within the hour, as they wanted to make absolutely sure that the size I ordered was the size I needed. When I confirmed that it was, within twenty minutes I got the notification that the lids had shipped. When I received the lids, they were very well packaged and wrapped, with the two glass pieces already hinged together. My only complaint—I want to preface it by saying I think it was user error (ie, I just didn't know what I was doing lol)—is with the plastic add-on piece that can be cut to accommodate the tank accessories. I had so much trouble getting them onto the glass sections—I wanted to just snap them on, but I couldn't get it on that way and ended up having to slide it very tediously along the glass until it was in the correct position. I kept worrying I was going to scratch or break the glass in the process. Then I tried cutting the pieces out with an Exacto knife like I'd seen someone else say in a review, but it was taking a really long time, and I discovered scissors worked just as well. So when I needed to cut a piece out of the middle of the edge, I used the scissors for the two sides and then the exacto knife to score and remove the last piece. I would also say put the add-on on before cutting the pieces. With the second lid I cut the plastic first but then had only cut edges to hold onto when I was trying to slide it onto the glass. Again I believe this was all user error and there was most likely a much easier way to do all of that, but just wanted to add it in case someone else is clueless like me, lol. Other than that, I really like the lids. They're a lot sleeker than the plastic hood lids I had and even though I've only used them a few days so far, it seems like they'll help slow evaporation and even though they don't have lights (which I'll be researching later), it's less necessary since the lid is, obviously, glass. Anyway, I'll definitely be buying another one for my single 5-gallon tank, as I ended up getting another betta lol ... show more

  • Best canopy out there
Pattern Name: Tank With Center Brace Size: 48"L x 13"W
After I ordered, Pidaz contacted me to verify the size I needed. I confirmed, and they sent the package. (a definite plus) It Arrived today, well packed. I removed it from the box and inspected. Clean cuts and nice glass. I measure the accessories and cut the plastic back piece to fit. A Dremel tool made short work of this process. I placed them in place, and a perfect fit. Cleaned the area of the glass for the handles and adhered them into place. Felt solid (them will definitely tell) This will definitely do well for the new light (as seen in the picture) Would recommend to any body looking for a glass canopy!! 5 STARS ... show more

  • 55 gallon standard
Pattern Name: Tank With Center Brace Size: 48"L x 13"W
I got these lids for my 55 gallon to use with my fluval aqua sky lights and it works like a charm. Only downsides is the handles have come off a couple times so I’ve had to re-glue them on and that the back flaps very much do not want to go on (which isn’t a big deal since I don’t have big jumpers- if you have hatchetfish you may want to consider that). ... show more

  • Great Product- but use super glue
Pattern Name: Tank With Center Brace Size: 48"L x 13"W
My only problem is the handles for the lids come off really easily. Invest in super glue. Other wise, it’s great. I have khuliis and hillstream loaches- all infamous for escape. I used Pothos plants in the gaps of the tank (at the hinges and at the flaps) and I have had 0 escapes. These fit my split 65 g perfectly! ... show more

This glass aquarium lid was exactly what I wanted for my aquarium and the quality is perfect. I was nervous about receiving glass in the mail but it came in intact and was well packaged.

  • Great fit
Pattern Name: Tank With Center Brace Size: 48"L x 13"W
This aquarium glass top is great. Fits like a glove. Very lite weight. Solves my evaporation issue. Great quality. A little assembly is required but not hard. A must have if you have an odd size aquarium.
