The media could not be loaded. So I decided to purchase this knowing I have a 37 gallon Top Fin fish tank. The width of this glass hood is 29 inches. The width of my inside opening is 28 and 3/4 in. Everything else with this tank design would work with this hood. So by knowing this I decided to design and 3D print inserts to go around the tank lip to relocate the hood. This way it would be supported correctly and would work the way I wanted it to. The design is pretty simple but it took a bit to get the measurements where I needed it to accommodate the glass Hood but after I got this all figured out it pretty much dropped right into place perfectly. The 3D printed parts do sit right on the lip all the way around the tank and I did use some silicone rubber aquarium sealer to attach them to the brim of the tank. I didn't want them to accidentally fall in or anything over time. And considering I couldn't print them any larger than 8 inches at a time this was the best alternative next to waiting a few weeks to have the glass cut to the correct dimensions. So to me designing this to work with my setup was a great idea and so far it seems to have paid off. I really like having a glass Hood and it's nice to be able to have access all the way across the fish tank like you used to be able to back in the days. Seems like all these new hoods have a tiny little opening that don't make it easy to access your fish. So I was super grateful that the supplier contacted me to make sure that this glass Hood would work with my setup. I did explain to them what I was doing and I was okay to receive it in the dimensions I originally purchased it in. They did a wonderful job and packaging this glass Hood which I was a little concerned at first hoping it would come without any damage and it was in perfectly good shape. I ordered this for my 5 gallon Betta tank, I really dislike those plastic lids that come with starter kits. The look of the glass lid is beautiful, and it matches my other tank. Seller verified I had measured my tank before shipment, I really appreciate that. This is an absolute perfect fit for the Aqua Culture 5 gallon glass aquarium. Like a glove! I requested that the hinge not to be installed but it was anyway, and the plastic was permanently bent from being folded in the box (see photo) so the lid would not stay closed like another reviewer said. However, I fixed this issue with zip ties and a hair dryer. I took the hinge off and with the hinge bent the correct way I zip tied the middle and ends. Then I put a warm/hot blow dryer on it for about 5 minutes. I let it cool with the zip ties on then carefully snipped the zip ties off and installed the hinge again. I do believe that over time the plastic would fix itself from the weight of the glass and gravity. But looks good, sturdy glass, fits perfectly. Overall great lid, love it! 5 stars. ... show more

I downsized from a 150 gallon tank to a 55 gallon. I bought the tank at PetSmart. I quickly became discouraged after my purchase when I learned they didn’t sell glass canopies that fit this particular tank. I tried multiple aquarium stores and even some on Amazon only to find each one of them would not fit. I found this product which seemed to be the perfect size. I also read a review of a person who has the same tank as me. I was so excited except the price seemed awful high. I decided not to purchase it because of that. Then, one day I got fed up with my cats messing with the hoods that came with the tank and decided I was ready to pay the price. Much to my surprise, it had significantly dropped. I immediately made my purchase. Soon after doing so, I received messages from the seller about it being on back order. They were very clear and direct in their communication about what to expect including timeframes and the notifications I may get from Amazon along the way. I was willing to wait for it in hopes it was what I needed. It ended up coming just a little later than I hoped, but when I messaged to get a status update they promptly replied. Everything they said to expect happened exactly as they described. I extend my biggest appreciation to the seller. The canopy fits perfectly for my tank, and I’m so relieved to be back to normal! I was highly impressed with their detailed, thorough, and most of all accurate communication. It was well worth the wait!!! fits ten galleon nicely only thing i dont like is the guard that fits around filter. its solid plastic and has to be cut to leave space for filter, not like the black hoods where the plastic is slotted for easy cutting.. other then that nice hood

I bought a TopFin 55 gallon tank starter kit from PetSmart back in 2020. After about 5 years, I figured it was time to upgrade the hood/lid/lights, so I went with this one. It fit perfectly. It was also packaged securely so nothing was broken upon arrival.

I have an Aqueon 75 gallon crystal clear glass aquarium. I tried out top fin’s glass lid and one other amazon brand, and they didn’t fit. This is the only glass lid that I could find that would fit my dimensions (22.75x16.75 inches). It’s extremely close to not fitting, so I had to put some door edge guard on the side for it to fit snug. They even reached out to me via text to ensure that the lid would fit.
