Been a great light, got it Feb 2023, noticed Nov 2024 the light output was diminishing, so I open the canopy to see melted lens drip dangling from the light!

I purchased the Prime HD in November 2022, and initially, I liked its performance. The lighting quality and the overall functionality of the product were excellent. It's a product that, in terms of performance, could easily earn five stars. However, a concerning issue has arisen that potential buyers should be aware of. After about a year of use, I noticed that the lens of the light fixture started to melt. This is not only a defect that impacts the product's functionality but also poses a serious safety risk. I am including a photo of the melting lens. Upon researching, I discovered that this is not an isolated case. Many other users have reported similar experiences, indicating a possible design flaw or quality control issue with this model. While the light fixture excels in performance, this safety concern detracts from its overall value. I am currently in contact with EcoTech's customer service to address this problem and am hopeful for a prompt and satisfactory resolution. To potential buyers: while the light's features and performance are commendable, please be aware of this safety issue. I will update this review based on the response and resolution provided by EcoTech. ... show more

    • 2 Brand New Lights with 2 different colors Under 1 control

The x2 AI Primes just arrived today. Installed them and connected them under the app. If you look at the photo. The right light has a slight purple hue vs the left which has a blue coloration. 2 brand new lights different colors under one control. It’s a lot more noticeable in person. Also, the left light has a wireless connection issue. I would lose connection constantly using the app while trying to adjust the color spectrum. It would send me back to the main page if I don’t set it fast enough. So I’m here trying to set up all the colorations within 10 secs before it reset and sent me back to the main page. Sounds like fun! At this point I’m debating if I should request for replacements and risk dealing with 2 different colors again (google it common issue). Or just send it back for a refund and pick up 2 Kessils A180 or the new Qmaven II 36”. ... show more
