I ordered this pump on August 9, but by September 10 it quit working and of course, it’s outside of the return window so now I’m stuck with it. I attempted to reach the seller but there is no contact info listed. My only complaint about the pump itself is that the cord is shorter than I'd like. The cord is only about 3' long. The seller has kindly sent a new pump for me to try. I am hopeful this works well. Thank you. I have had koi ponds for nearly 30 years and run several filtering systems and water features simultaneously. I purchased this pump to run an additional filter system. Within a few days the outflow tubing was down to barely a trickle. Opening the pump reveals a sponge filter between the intake cover and the motor. It accumulates debris sooo fast and slows down the outflow to a trickle that I removed the sponge filter piece. I also placed the pump in a filtering bag to help catch debris before it enters the pump. ... show more
