The media could not be loaded. I received a used product. Completely unacceptable unless I was knowingly purchasing one. *UPDATE* The company offered me a full refund even when a new unit was sent. I believe this was mishandled by Amazon and not the company in question. I've been using the unit for a few days and while it's not whisper quiet, it's not loud by any means. There is a decent hum that comes from it but I bet if I put it on a towel or something the noise would greatly reduce. The bubbles come out really nice and it's a small unit so you can put it almost anywhere! It would definitely fit behind the fish tank with no visible signs of the units. The stone works really well so far and the airflow is nice and solid. It's a nice little unit and I really appreciate that the company contacted me right away to make sure that I was satisfied. They also said that if I had any issues with the product in the future I could contact them again. Customer service is so important, especially on Amazon! ... show more

    • Nice and quiet.
I use this in my tank at the office. You can hardly hear it working and it came with enough air hose that I was able to hide it in my tank base. You can adjust your air flow to get it exactly the way you what the air to flow. I hooked it to a bubble stone that is 5 inches and it's doing a great job.

    • Works well, quieter than the pump that I replaced for a Play/Learn Bubble tube. A solid 4 out of 5
The media could not be loaded. I bought this as a replacement for a very loud pump on an LED Bubble Tube. Surprisingly, the bubbles are louder than the pump. You can still hear a muted pump noise but it's much quieter than the old pump that it replaced. I originally bought a nano pump that would fit into the base of the tube but it didn't have enough power to create bubbles and I ended up returning it. I will try to get different valves to see if that will help aleviate the bubble noise level as the included turn screw valves don't seem to have very precise air control. So far, I haven't had any issues and the pump doesn't create much vibration. As other users have pointed out, the black knob on the end of the pump doesn't seem to do anything when you turn it. ... show more

This pump works amazing, always remember to add air bubbles to your tank to create surface agitation, which allows more oxygen to enter the water and carbon dioxide to exit. Product size is nice, the pressure is amazing, so far stability is good. And the product feels pretty durable.

I have this air pump in a 3ft high, 3 ft deep, and 6ft tall grow tent in my bedroom. I barely hear this pump at all. Highly recommend this air pump if you need to run dual tubes and need minimal noise.

*UPDATE JAN 2023* PRO: 1. Read all the other 5 star reviews. CON: 1. Negative reviews were right. The hose comes off. Good thing I have a check valve on my air line. Shesh! - I tried to cut about an inch off the end of that hose and try again, but no joy. - If the hose comes off, the outlet is too large for the hose size. So, use some none toxic glue, on a starter tube, about 12 inches. Then add a metal valve to that end, then attach your normal main line. - It's loud, and if I had another pump, I'd do a return, but can't at this time. Original post: - If your pump stops working, open it up, it's a super a simple design that anyone can repair. - If your pump stops working, open it up and CLEAN IT OUT, yeah, you can clean this pump. 2. Air stones are kind of cheap. 3. One of the two check valves did not work, but not why I bought this. 4. For the life of me, cannot figure out how to EASY change the filter. So, I will OPEN IT UP, and get to it from the inside, and make it so it's easy to change the filter. Change once a year. OTHER: 1. BUY if you want the most likely, least expensive dual output, quiet pump on Amazon? 2. DON'T BUY if you don't know how to take apart a super simple air pump and maintain it. ... show more
