This thing works better then I ever imagined. Cleans all the stuff off the bottom of the tank. I clean weekly. When cleaning i put the whole thing in a bowl so it doesn't get back into the tank. Super easy to clean.

Product feels cheap. It was very dusty when I opened it. It sucks some fish poop/ food that is on the bottom so it kinda work. The fan on top is very useless. It barely spin to help with the suction. This product could be better.

    • Easy to install and effective at sucking up poop!
I keep a bare bottom quarantine tank and needed something more than my HOB filter as that left mulm on the bottom of my bare bottom tank. I saw this "waste collector", and was unsure if it would work. To my surprise my tank bottom looks immaculate, and I can see all the poop collected. The assembly was simple as the whole thing got shipped ready to go! The only installation was attaching air line and finding a good spot. My only problem is that in a small aquarium it looks bulky and unsightly. To be fair, quarantine tanks don't have many decorations therefore making it stick out like a sore thumb. It looks cool but it doesnt exactly filter very well, maybe it needs a stronger pump to work so i cant say for sure. It does its job but its not satisfying and its slow. Its not worth it in my opinion for low power pumps
