This garden hose is a great product. It is extremely light-weight, flexible and sturdy. The rubber hose is 1/2 thick with a fiber material over it for durability.The hose fills and empties the water fast. It is perfect for my use as my 18 bonsai trees live in a greenhouse in the basement during the winter months. I mist them at least 4-5 times a day. Although it seems a bit inconsistent to give this product four stars because I had to return it, let me tell you why it wins this distinction. It is a very lightweight alternative to those heavy rubber garden hoses that you leave out because you’re hot, tired and grumpy after a day in the yard. Because this is so light weight, it is not a hassle to roll it up and keep it out of the way of lawnmowers and edgers. The one I purchased on Amazon was great for about a month and then sprung a major leak. The downside of these hoses is that they are covered with fabric so you can’t really repair them. Here’s the good part in the part in which you will understand why I will always be a loyal customer to aqua Joe. We were a little lazy about registering the product… My bad. But, we know where it was purchased and the date of sale etc. We had a brief conversation with the company and no hassle at all… No return… No trouble… They shipped out a brand new hose. This was my experience with them once before. I have bought several of their products and if there’s anything wrong at all they will make it right. These hoses really are fabulous. You have to be careful not to snag them on rocks or try and drag them across sharp lawn edging, but if you treat them with a little respect they will last you a long, long time. Got this hose for a quick easy “winter” hose so I could store my automatic hose reels. I’ve now used it a few times and it’s awful. It kinks worse and easier than any hose I’ve ever used. Every time I pull it out to use I have to spend a minimum of 10 minutes walking along the length to untwist the hose at each kink and then GENTLY set it back down so it doesn’t re-kink in the exact same spot again. Once it’s finally free of kinks you can forget about walking around to use the hose. It’ll just kink again. If I hadn’t already tossed the box I would return it. It’s not worth it. At this point it seems easier to lug out my heavy reels each time I need to use a hose this winter. ... show more

Its a great hose that doesn't really kink BUT you really have to unravel well before use or it will be a bit twisted. Not exactly kink twisted but enough of a twist where the pressure was being cut off a bit.

So far the hose seams durable and is lightweight but it still kinks. The bigger problem is that it's made with plastic fittings on the ends. I cross- threaded a nozzle with metal threads onto the male end of the hose and it now leaks. I used teflon tape to correct. IMO brass fittings should have been used. ... show more
