Wired everything correctly with the exception of two wires which my stock wiring harness did NOT have included. Bluetooth connected but there was no sound whatsoever. I dissected my spliced connections and everything was correct. Returned the first and purchased another. Second one did not work either. Read the instruction manual like a crazed detective in one of those crime shows to no avail. Customer service virtually nonexistent. Radio does not work, will spend the now $180+ on something more trusted. -2/10 would recommend. ... show more

The output for the sub's does not work what so ever and the unit itself down not have a sub on off option in the menu. I hooked everything up right. Amp had power and no sound comes through to my subwoofers.

I have had this over a year now and has work great for what you pay for. In no way is it a nice brand or anything but something to put in a vehicle to update a little bit that your not trying to have anything passed factory sound quality then it’s fine. The rear usb only charge is my phone which is super strange but whatever I just used the front for CarPlay. I think I have only had to do a hard reset once. This radio is made for running your phone it doesn’t do well on its own so if your not using something like CarPlay don’t get this.     • You get what you pay for.
so the unit itself works pretty good. The screen is kind of dim in the middle of the day but still visible. the real problem that I have with it is the phone connection. When you answer a phone call the volume drops substantially requiring you to turn it up quite a bit to hear the conversation. then when you hang up what ever you were listening to before is super loud. As far as I can tell there is no way to set a call volume independent of the music volume. This may seem like no big deal but it gets really annoying after only a few phone calls. Next the mic on the device doesn't pick up your voice at all. I kept having to disconnect my phone and use it because people could not hear what I was saying. I tried using a plug in mic in rear plug and the front neither of which made any difference in people being able to hear me any better. Lastly the usb on the back does not connect car play, it only charges the phone. So I guess if you are using this only for navigation or music it is okay. but if you plan on using this to make a phone call do not buy it. ... show more

i bought this unit because i wanted apple car play but didn’t want to break the bank. installation was easy enough but my biggest issue with the unit is that the rca signals are very very weak. so if you plan on having subwoofers, stunt walls, etc i do not reccomend this unit. i even turned the gain on my amps up a good bit and it was not near as loud as the previous radio i had. the apple car play was cool and all but the touch screen is pretty laggy. i feel like 3 stars is generous to be honest. the only reason im giving it 3 stars is because customer support was decent. they tried to help me but nothing resolved the issue with the unit being very quiet. if you’re not into aftermarket audio dealing with amplifiers and all of that this would be a decent radio but i would just save up another $50-$100 and get something better or go to walmart (like i did) and get a radio from there that performs much better for the same price minus the apple car play. ... show more

    • Works for what I need + customer service is pretty good.
Did exactly what I needed, and when I ran into installation trouble I actually got a reply email. In case anyone runs into the same problem I had: The backup cam was working fine while the car was off, but it went to a black screen when the engine was running. While the engine is running, the alternator charges the battery at 14v instead of 12v, so I knew that had to be part of the issue somehow. In order to get the automatic switching to work for the backup cam, I spliced into the reverse lights to send the signal to the pink wire on the back of the stereo. I realized that even when the car is running, the reverse lights only get 12v because the lightbulbs last longer if the voltage doesn't change often. So the problem was that I was sending 12v to the pink wire, but the red/yellow wire powering the stereo was at 14v. Evidently, they must be pretty close in voltage in order for the auto switch to work properly. I fixed the problem by adding a relay so I could send the same 14v down the pink wire. ... show more

    • Not Worth the Money- Spend more and get one that works
Dont buy this. Spend more money and get one that works. Installed this and the bluetooth worked for a few days. Now, no bluetooth and when i plug my phone into it the power blinks on and off until I unplug it. Also radio stations dont work half the time and sound is not great.
