I love these chairs. We've had them for over a year. They are out in the Texas sun 24/7 and look as good as the day I bought them. They never get hot, even when it's over 100 degrees and they are super sturdy. I rinse them off each day when I water my plants, so they are easy to keep clean. UPDATE: I read through the negative comments and realized we all had the same issue... putting the armchair rests on the inside of the down posts. Once corrected, the holes line up as intended. Turns out the instructions just need to be far clearer. So, I added one star back. I purchased 6 of these and have assembled 2. Both chairs had armrest holes that did not line up no matter what I tried. I had to redrill the holes...grr. once assembled, the chairs do look nice. I think if we are careful with them they should last, but it would not buy these for a large person. They are also surprisingly narrow. If you have a large backside, choose another chair. They were less expensive than most so there's that ... show more

They are only a few days old for us but they are not made for oversized (wide) people. We are not oversized so they are fine for us. I’m 6’2 and my wife is 5’8 and we both are sitting in them right now. Have been for 30 minutes and both of us are saying our backs are hurting sitting in them. Not very ergonomic. Also, we had to drill our own holes in a few of the armrest pieces as others have had to do. We purchased 4 chairs. 3 of the 4 need holes drilled. ... show more

We love these chairs! Bought them a month ago and they feel top quality. Sturdy and attractive. Comfortable for all sizes. They were easy to assemble except for one predrilled hole that did not line up on the arms. We had to drill our own hole which was a bit disappointing- but hopefully the company fixes this “mis-measurement” because otherwise we are very pleased with the overall product and feel that they have held up to everything the ad described. ... show more

I am VERY spatially challenged. It took me over 2 hours to assemble the first chair with the hand tools provided in the package. This is because I should not be allowed to build anything ever, and when following the instructions very literally step by step, I wound up with something that does not look or behave like a chair. So, I took it all apart and started over - twice. For me, it all started making sense when the armrests came together. If you're like me, here's what you need to know: -It comes with all the tools you need. Would it be a lot faster with power tools? Absolutely. Can you put it together with what's in the box with sheer grit and determination? Yes, you can, if the holes are drilled properly. More on that later. There was a lot of throwing my entire weight behind the screw to get it into the hole. The final step where you properly tighten can take upwards of 30 minutes with the provided tools. -DO A MOCK ASSEMBLY OF THE ARMRESTS FIRST! this was the hardest part for me, and my undoing. This is the step where I took the chair apart twice. When I built the second chair I did this first and it made all the difference. It's very easy to put them together wrong in a way that looks correct and only find out you messed up when it comes time to lock it all together with a bolt. Make sure the pre-drilled holes for the support bar are facing out on the chair so you can see them from the front, and make sure you bolt the chair arms on the "outside" and not the "inside." You'll find out what I mean. -Second chair took less than an hour with my newfound knowledge. The support bar holes were not drilled exactly right so getting the screws in manually was a challenge. There are two screws that stick out on the support bar because of this and I'm going to have to use a power drill or else my pants will catch on the chair every time I get up. This would have been clutch if it was drilled right so I have to take a star off for the manufacturing error. -I am 270 pounds and very round. I was worried that these chairs would not be big enough. Happy to report that they are extremely comfortable for me and I don't feel cramped! -Assemble outside or you will have resin shavings everywhere. I do really recommend these chairs armed with this knowledge. Enjoy!! ... show more

I love these chairs and hope to buy more next summer. They are very sturdy and so comfortable. Putting them together was not a problem but following the diagram with the instructions is very important, especially for the placement of the arms. The chair back is just the perfect angle for comfort.

The overall look is nice and modern. We ordered the dark grey and it’s true to the color online. The only downfall is the thinness of the chair backs. They are a bit flimsy/flex if a larger person were to sit down hard. My husband is only 185 lbs and I saw the chair back move when he sat down. We just got them a couple weeks ago- so I’ll see how long they hold up. ... show more
