I use this for archery to sight in targets or markers under the stand. It works well at 50 yards and probably farther, however I have only used it at 50 yards. It’s compact and fits in my hunting jacket nicely. I like it.

I've had it out a few times since then. love it. it's fast and amazingly accurate. I’ve been able to easily range targets of varying sizes, distances, and light conditions, including several guys out in a small boat fishing on a misty, overcast day.

I like that it helped set up targets, but I would like to shoot closer to 1000yrds. Maybe I can look at the same brand for another that ranges to 1/2 a mile?

    • Inaccurate and won’t read
I stood 25 feet from my apartment and painted the wall, reading said 200 yards, I did it again without moving and it said 187. What a joke. Also it would not return on trees, windows, or even light poles, I had to target reflective signs to ever get a range. If I could give it no stars I would.

    • Can’t see in low light
I bought this with expecting to be able to use it in low light conditions but the range displays are black so you can’t use it early in the morning or late in the afternoon. Will be returning.
