I used to spray Kilz primer. I thinned the primer but this sprayer still seemed to struggle to spray the paint. It made for a very thin coat. I've only ever used air sprayers before, this was my first airless sprayer so it could be par for this type fan based sprayer. The fan only has one speed which was fine for my application but variable speed could be nice in others. The paint valve doesn't come apart from what I can tell. Caught this for a steal. The instructions aren’t all that great. I attempted to use it straight out of the box, but fail. It took a while to actually start spraying, and then it created big paint splashes. So I went on YouTube and saw that the paint needs to be thinned/ diluted (viscosity). I filled it about halfway and added a few oz of water and it started to work great. You will get some over spray. ... show more
