Description

ANYCUBIC PLANT-BASED RESIN In order to reduce the impact of chemicals on the environment and human body, 3D printing materials are expected to be green and safe. For this reason, ANYCUBIC has been researching and developing 3D light curing materials for many years. We has developed soybean oil as a raw material, plant-based resin does not contain BPA, does not contain benzene and benzene hazardous substances, no irritation, no VOCs volatilization. About ANYCUBIC ANYCUBIC has gathered a strong R&D team from domestic to overseas. A simpler, smarter and more practical philosophy has been applied to create high-quality 3D printers to meet professional and daily life needs. Our goal is "The most popular 3D printer brand" based on quality products, fast service, and innovative functions, to improve living quality and contribute to social development. Slightly odor. Low Shrinkage The plant-based uv resin has the characteristic of low shrinkage, the model can be smoother after curing, without cracking. Wide Compatibility As a 3D printer resin, it can accept a light source with a wavelength of 350~405nm, so it can be a best choice for different model resin printer. • Best resin for better detail
Color: Translucent Green Size: 500g
I have used everything from Eelegoo, Anycubuic, IFun, you name it I have used it. PROS: This not only gives me better prints but the supports just fall off at the end leaving very little marks. Look at my picture of the goblin I printed. I was able to get the lock pick set on his chest. I had to magnify the pic to see them. The best part is after you clean them it gets even cleaner with soap and water, since this is ECO friendly you can clean them in the sink. The prints are even a little flexible on things that are thin and would break on normal resins. This helps protect the smaller details from snapping off. It is still a resin even though it is ECO friendly so still use gloves. The green is more transparent than the normal tans green. CONS: Not sure what they are talking about but the smell is just as intense as the older resin. ... show more

  • Less odor and Eco Friendly...
Color: Yellow Size: 500g
How Eco Friendly I am not too sure. As I'm writing this, I made a few prints with very little change to my process from other anycubic resins, maybe a little longer exposure but other than that it works great. There is an odor, but probably only if you have a good sniffer like I do, but it's not terrible. I do have a ventilation hood that draws out smells but I turned it off to check it out. Pastel yellow. I like it but I'm hoping there's more solid, base colors in the future. I really hope this process is more globally accepted if it is less toxic and more environmentally friendly. I will keep it 5 star as it does what I ask it to, but I do plan on doing further tests. ... show more

  • Better-smelling resin, but left some residue on FEP film.
Color: Grey Size: 1000g
This print definitely has less smell than regular resin, but I wouldn't quite call it totally odorless. I did have to increase exposure time a bit (from 1.5 to 2.0s on my Photon Mono X) or prints would detach from support and fail. I'm using a flexible build plate so I never have any issue removing the print. It also is noticeably more viscous than the basic anycubic resin I used before. Also had more air bubbles after pouring, so I had to wait some time for them to settle. I did notice though a kind of residue on the bottom of the tank, like a thin almost-transparent film on the FEP film itself. At first I thought the FEP film was breaking, but turns out it was just this thin layer of resin. Takes quite a bit of work to fully clean up. In addition I suspect some of it ended up detaching and ending up the the print, resulting in some surface imperfections. I cleaned the tank fully then tried again, and sure enough after a print the residue was back here. This has never happened with other resin so far. ... show more

  • Fully functional and more pleasant to work with.
I tried this resin for the first time yesterday on an Anycubic Photon printer and had very good results. First, as advertised, it doesn't smell bad. This makes it easy to be around and work with i.e. not wearing a full respirator, which is a huge improvement over other products. Print quality good: Resolution was great, limited by the printer resolution, not the resin. The resin is a nice low viscosity, poured easily and didn't hold bubbles under the surface. Exposure time as advertised: I used values in the middle of the range of suggested exposure times from the instructions and had no problems with curing or adhesion to the build plate. Tank adhesion better: During printing, I believe there was less adhesion to the FEP tank liner than with standard resin, as the slight popping sound as each layer detached was quieter. - see note on supports next. Post processing is different: After removal from the build plate, I rinsed with an alcohol bath. The surface of the print was still a bit tacky after rinsing. (this is corrected with time in the sun or a post-cure light setup) I removed the supports and found that the material in its green state was less brittle and a little stronger than the anycubic standard resins. This means that it is a little harder to remove supports, so I would recommend using a lighter support structure to avoid damage to the print where the supports detach- this seems reasonable given the lower adhesion to the FEP tank window that I think I observed. Finishing good: I post-cured the print in front of a 30W 405nm UV light for 4 hours. The material cured with a matte finish. I tried filing and sanding the support scars and had good luck with both methods. After sanding with a very fine paper, I rubbed the print with a cotton cloth and was able to match the appearance of the undisturbed surface fairly well. Strength: I did not test the ultimate strength or brittleness of the fully cured material, but will update when I do. ... show more

  • Clear is NOT Clear, it's yellow — old looking yellow
Color: Clear Size: 1000g
So the low odor and clean up of this was perfectly fine. The print quality wasn't too different than the other "smellier" ones, either. However, the odor was not why I bought this. I bought it for the clear color. I tried so many things. I tried shaking the container more and longer before printing, I tried different exposure times using a test print and I got the same yellow "clear" no matter what. I tried replacing the film and throughly cleaning everything even though the clear was the last color I printed, no change. It's perturbing because it looks like what happens to old plastics that get left out in the sun for years. The last time I saw a clear plastic this thick and this yellow, it was the cover of an abandoned tourist sign covering a years-old poster in the sun where the paint was peeling off the wood frame. The only reason I am not returning it is that the sturdiness and low smell mean that as long I use this for utilitarian things, the material is good and just not worth the hassle of returning. But I was very, very disappointed. I have no idea about other colors but I imagine they would be fine or at least not as bad. I would just strongly counsel anyone against clear if they want the clear color in the images. I have not gotten that. If there were a trick to get that color, I would love to know it but it should be advertised on the bottle itself. ... show more
