I brought new furniture and this product saved it from my cat who habitually sharpened his claws on the sides of my sofa. I also put it around the bottom corners of my sofa and chair to protect them from my chihuahua. who hikes his leg on the corners of my furniture. It has really protected it well. It’s not entirely unnoticeable but I’d rather see the clear plastic than see the corners of my furniture being peed on. I’ve had to use the little screw in pins to keep it from eventually coming loose. My furniture is fabric. It might stick better on vinyl or leather. If not, you definitely could not use the pins for that problem. It eventually looses its stickiness and needs replacing. For the doggie problem, it will wipe clean with a damp cloth and a little cleaner. I’ll definitely keep buying this when it needs to be replaced. ... show more

they were better than expected. nice weight to them. I used them for the fronts of my sofa so my kitty wouldn't scratch. I'm sure I'll find other uses for them at some point. They attached to the fabric nicely! There ae plenty of pieces in the set for the whole house if needed. Great buy! Thanks!

Bought a new couch and didn't want my brats to keep putting their claws in it so bought this. Does what I need it to do. Not super pretty and the tacks can be a pain to screw through the plastic and fabric but they sure do seem to stay in securely.

Didnt order for cats. My dog likes to hike his leg to mark my furniture. Works great for stopping the urine from getting on the bottom of furniture. Just wipe clean when I discover its soiled.
