My son loves this. It makes noise, plays music, tells stories, and lights up. It also charges quickly and lasts a while. What's the most impressive is that I sit behind him (together we weigh around 250 lbs) and it still cruises at a pretty good speed.

This is nearly perfect. Super easy to put together. It is faster than most vehicles for children. The only thing that can be improved is the speakers. Worth the purchase though!

    • Battery lasts long time.

The smokestack is the steering wheel. When assembling, the bolt hole may be off center. Attempts to put nut on bolt may not work. If this is the case, rotate the steering wheel 180 degrees and try again. Bolt should slide through easily and nut will then engage. The battery comes partially charged. Grandson rode to the park on the sidewalk, made six trips around the swings, went offroad in the grass, downhill, uphill, and back, and finally got stuck in the woodchips when he stopped. Had he kept rolling, wouldn't have gotten stuck. Charged that night, went back next day, rinse and repeat. I was amazed at the battery life. 20 minutes of constant pedal to the floor is nothing. You can use the headlight at night for a flashlight. Sixteen-point turns on the sidewalk are de rigueur. Off road capability wasn't great, but far exceeded expectations. Carrying capacity was better than expected. A three-year old and five-year old can easily fit on the engine. Speed is a brisk walk when following your junior engineer. Best feature? No track for the kids to tear up, lose and have to replace. ... show more

Train is a big hit. It uses a USB wall charger so nice compared to taking out whole batteries and charging. Loud sound and light on train . Plays music and makes train noises. Can also use blue tooth. And the weight limit is 300lbs ish so we can ride with our three year old and it still goes very fast !! Had for a few months and still holding up ! We also purchased the extra cart to attach but it is harder to make turns with it but nice when going straight! ... show more

Bought this for Christmas because my 7yr old son is a train enthusiast. He rode it about 1x per week, offering neighborhood toddlers ride on our street. After about 5 weeks of off and usage. It stopped working. Battery is good, all other features work but the motor and we are, unfortunately we are beyond return date so we are hosed! Even bought 2 extra train cars for it. Not a cheap item to simply “buy another one “! Tough pill to swallow and my little man is in bad space about it. ... show more
