  • Awesome Camera
Color: 6MP Turret Camera
Replaced an 8 MP camera with this unit and I was blown away by the picture quality of the camera. The FOV is a bit beyond 180 degrees and provides a crisp image day and night. Use the readily available SADP search tool and it’s easy to discover and program on the network the stitching of the video from the dual lens is flawless from a camera with this price point. The unit I installed could only tilt up and down an could not swivel left or right but that worked for as I needed a true 180 FOV and this unit fit the bill and get the job down ... show more

  • Works great with Synology surveillance
Color: 8MP Turret Camera
As others have stated it works with Synology. Video quality is on par with my 4k Hikvision cameras. Great 180 degree view! Set it up on Surveillance Station as a generic hikvision and it has all the options available that my actual HV cameras have. GUI interface is the same as HV. Add to your network, use SADP Tool to find and setup password, setup on Surveillance Station, done. I’m happy with it and considering buying another. ... show more

  • Much to like but...
Color: 8MP Bullet Camera
... it works differently than I'd like. This camera has the greatest night vision and so far I've turned off IR and the white lights. The IR along some other cameras flood the field and wash out parts of the scene. So IR turned off. The white lights were intended to light the way to the door but they are weak and spotty to get to light up so they are turned off too. These motion lights on most cameras are intended to scare away the bad guy and I want them to light up the path to and the front door. ... show more

  • Great 180 degree view
Color: Black
I now have an extra camera, because this one is replacing the original. I've attached four photos - two of the new camera, showing the 180 degree view (which is really great, better than the original "regular" camera) and one of the regular cameras, both have night and day shots. First off, this is the only camera I've had that shows color at night. Pretty cool. It also has a mini spotlight (which you can turn off) - it doesn't extend very far, so it's not doing much, but it's cool. The quality is much better then the original cameras, which are 8X 5MP. You can see how it's much more defined at night. The daytime shots seem to be closer in quality, but I found that when you focus in, this camera is better. See the gray car parked in front? With the old camera, you couldn't read the license plate. I don't have a shot of it, but you CAN read it with this picture. That matters, as some thief parked across the street earlier this year and stole something from the landscaper we hired to mow our lawn while we were out of town. I couldn't get his license plate, though the car was clearly visible. If it happened now, I'd be able to make out at least some of the letters. Now the really important part - the company itself. I purchased the whole setup in June 2021, with the NVR model N48PBB. From the start, it was nothing but problems - the desktop program couldn't connect, nor could the app. But their tech support stuck with me, even remoting in, and we finally got it all working (and I'm a Microsoft Certified System Engineer and a Cisco Certified Network Associate - I actually know what I'm doing most of the time.) But this camera didn't work with my NVR, and the N48PBB couldn't get a firmware upgrade to fix that. I was furious. Less than two years old, and it couldn't work with THEIR camera? They told me to send back the NVR, they reimbursed me for the postage - no small thing, it was $65! They rushed me a new NVR, a later model. I plugged it all in and - It just worked. Right away. No problems, all the cameras came on, no delving into the guts except to turn on the remote access so the phone app could find it. The whole thing took, maybe, 15 minutes. They stood behind their products, they went out of their way to make sure I was happy, and they put plenty of time in tech support when I wasn't. This is a good company. They did the right thing, they want their customers to recommend their products, and I appreciate that way of doing business. Plus - this camera is REALLY good. If you need to cover the whole block with just one camera, this is what you want. ... show more

  • Tricky but nice
Color: 8MP Bullet Camera
This took me a few to figure out but got it working with my swann security nvr. You have to activate it first through the app. Takes a few before it shows up. Plugged into router, set the password on the camera then plugged into swann. The configuration for the swann in the set up menu was onvif, manual set up set the subnet and port 80 but I believe port 554 will work as well since I scanned to find open ports on the camera. Set the password for the camera. I wanted a 180 camera now just need to mount it outside. Update: swann only records one of the cameras on recoding so guess I will be returning it. It’s not the fault of the camera manufacturer but the nvr functionality. Once I move to blue iris or lixriot I will probably get this one again. Just need to install a computer with the software and a second hard drive for the recordings. If you go this route make sure to use a server specific hard drive due to the writes on disk. ... show more

  • Complicated App and Cable Management
Color: 8MP Turret Camera
Compared to other brands apps. This one is complicated beyond complicated. If youre not a tech savvy person. Settings hidden in the cameras and in the NVR. Since Annke is a sub company of Hikvision, I could only assume decent quality and reliability. But if you want something plug and play. Stay away from Annke. Youll be frustrated from their app. Install note: If youre install onto a solid portion of a wall, the camera designed for wire to be tuck into wall's void space. You'll need to drill a 1" hole to get the wire inside or organize it outside. ... show more

  • UPDATE: firmware change/upgrade is better!
Color: Black
UPDATE: No more ONVIF setup is required! With the firmware update, it is no longer necessary to set up the ONVIF as described below in my original post on 11/18/23. After you activate the camera and give it a U/N and PW use those same credentials for the ONVIF on your NVR/DVR. Simple! ORIGINAL POST: I have 8 Annke POE Cameras of various types being used on a Dauhua NVR. The trick to use on non-Annke NVR is creating an ONVIF username and PW in the camera under Advanced/network/Integration Protocol. The ability to set up an ONVIF username and PW is no longer visible/available. The two cameras with the latest firmware are useless to me and will be returned. My mixed rating of a 3 is because the cameras are excellent and would garner a 4 star if the ONVIF set-up was still available. They would be 5-star if the ONVIF setup were not required like other camera brands. Simplify, please. ... show more
