I use this tool to apply wax to cars I detail. Being battery operated and light it works extremely well. I tried to use this to polish but not as good as my griots DA to that kind of job. I wish it had an extra battery option but I guess not. For the money and my usage it works extremely well.

Light weight and easy to handle. Speeds are adequate for the type of polishing you would be doing with a polisher of this size. It comes with two battery's which is more than enough given I polished my bike and inside of my 65 GTO with only the one battery and it didn't die on me. Has a very nice design and it makes holding it easy and comfortable. Has good array of attachments. I liked this little polisher it comes in handy and great for at home use. This is a great deal on an awesome buffer kit. and it comes with 2 batteries!! When most tools don’t even come with 1, this is a steal! It also comes with a variety of different pads/accessories. It does not come with any polishing compound though, so keep that in mind. Another thing I want to mention is that the apron it comes with looks like it was made for a child, size wise. Which is unfortunate for someone like me, who doesn’t own an apron. It works well and is made well. Seems to be very durable. Easy to use also. Pretty lightweight too. The only dislike is the buffer head is sort of small but short of that the rest is outstanding. I really put this dude thru the paces. I used it with sanding and buffing both and running it hard for long periods and it took it without a hitch. I liked the extra battery included so when one went low I swap them out and kept on driving for well over an hour non stop wet standing and what else can I say it met my expectations and then some. The speed control works great fast to slow, I changed that out many time as well. I am very impressed and I do recommend this for purchase you won't be disappointed. Overall the price is good and the product is good and made well. I like that no cord means no tangles and drive on making waxing the car/boat a breeze. ... show more

It works, and for the current list price, I figure that is all I should expect. There are a ton of the inexpensive polishers on Amazon. I have no way of knowing if any of the others are significantly better. I have some Milwaukee, and Makita brushless tools. Those run much smoother than this one does, but they cost two to four times as much as this polisher. If this polisher ran much rougher, I would say the sound it makes approaches a grinding sound. That makes me figure that this might not last for decades. It comes with a pair of lithium batteries. I have had tremendous luck with OEM and knock off batteries of this type. Out of about two or three dozen 12 v lithium batteries, I have only had one fail (a Milwaukee). I would be surprised if these batteries didn't outlast the tool. The Milwaukee and Makita batteries do not fit in this tool. Typically, I give three stars to items that work, but have some flaws. If it works and there are not particular issues with a product, I give four stars. To get a fifth star, a product needs to stand out somehow. This is a four star product. ... show more

Got this to buff out some scratches and scuffs on my SUV. Worked well! Love the easy to use aspect of it being cordless. Held up well for me in my use, I am not 100% sure if the battery is going to last if you're buffing every square inch of a very large vehicle, as I haven't tested that aspect.
