As other reviewers have stated these are really bright when you look at them but the amount of light they give off doesn't translate to illuminating a whole room as a traditional light bulb would. It's more like a 20 watt bulb or a few candles. However there is enough light to see your way around or sit nearby to read so in an emergency or outside using more than one these should be sufficient. The build quality is not very good most noticeably in the battery compartment which consists of very flimsy springs and a bottom cap that is tough to get seated properly to screw back on. However for the $15 I paid for 4 units they'll be good to have in the next power outage we will encounter. ... show more

My whole family has these and loves them. We use them when the power goes out and they are BRIGHT. I love how compact they are as well. Bonus but the keep toddlers entertained when the power goes out as well. 🤪

I used it for my pop up even everyone had light bulbs with generators I just had 8 of these set up on my canapy and it was very bright . I had 4 hung and 4 on the table . Had them in for 4 hours until even was over and we’re still bright going to try them again to see how many more hours they last
