Bought a pair of these 7 years ago when they first came out. Since I've only bought 1 more set an it has higher lumens. For the price and quality it's freaking amazing. I've been on wild hog hunts, deer hunts, exotic hunts, etc and this head lamp has been with Me thru them all. It stays charged for hours. I recharge mine after every hunt anyways. But life of batteries are great. Stupid bright. And can see anything across fields with green light without spooking game. If your an avid hunter and want a new light grab this one. This is for a second purchase of the item, after the first one failed just days after the one-month return period expired - probably due to a broken wire or a cold solder junction that escaped the manufacturer's inspection. The vendor honored the warranty and moreover, offered a replacement with no question asked and need to return the failed product. I opted for a refund instead, to which they instantly agreed. Used the refund to buy the same product, and same as the fist time around, was happy with the light weight, brightness, ease of use and convenience to choose between brightness and time of use between charges. It is serving me well and I am assuming that the failure of the first one was a rare fluke. A minor shortcoming; compared to some fanciest models, this one has a fixed beam width from the large center LED, so if you need the very narrow beam to illuminate a spot 200 ft away, this product is not you. I took a star off for the failure of the first purchase, but kudos to the vendor for their great service. ... show more

I loved going into forest at night with this thing, because most animals can't see the green light. Very bright headlamp and great for hooking up to a power bank for extra hours. Mine was stolen so I want another one!!

    • Extremely uncomfortable to wear, battery life near zero

This product uses metal frames to hold the headlamp in front and the battery in back. The elastic straps run through the metal frames. The frames press against the head and make wearing this extremely uncomfortable. Yes, I could potentially wear it over a hat, but that adds mechanical interference with a hat brim and makes it harder to aim the headlight. There's something wrong with the battery system. Out of the box, I charged it overnight, and it turned on and yes, both the red and white lights are bright. But, after that few minutes of testing, then shutting it off, a day later the battery was dead again. Uncertain but seems something is draining the battery while not being used. Lastly, while not a problem with the product, there isn't a way to focus the beam between spot and flood. ... show more
