These are my go-to for work on cars and other vehicles. Even though it's very bright, it's not overwhelming the area in front of you. I work construction and frequently work nights, and this light does a great job illuminating the area around you without distracting or annoying everyone around you. BLUF: For $15 it IS worth the cost for this head lamp however, I would NOT use it for running/jogging at night Pros: - LED is bright and has a wide field of view - Motion sensor works as advertised - Spotlight LED is also bright - Seems durable and is lightweight - No more AAA/AA batteries to worry about Cons: - LED will dim over a short time (10min) but if you shut it off and on it is back to full brightness (seems like a design fault?); kept decent brightness when used for an hour at full power - Be aware that the 2.5 hours advertised "working time" will NOT give you full brightness as the light will dim over time (amplified by the flood light design) - Spotlight focus is NOT adjustable - Motion sensor is sensitive, so if you wave anything by it, it will shut on/off - Motion sensor won't work with black nitrile gloves, but you just need wave your arm by the sensor for it to work - Can only charge from USB A to USB C (as stated on the packaging and included USB A to C charging cord) so charge time is longer than advertised - You'll need to memorize location of the power switch and motion switch on the battery box since they are right next to each other - QR code on package requires download of the Transparency app to be decoded - Spot light AND flood light CAN NOT be on at the same time - Just ONE color LED ... show more

2 come in very small box, thought I was only sent 1. Super flexible band is comfortable. Hand waiving feature is nice if a tad sensitive: might turn on/off if reaching above your head. Also has a small normal light that can be turned on separately or combined if less scorched Earth light desired.

Pleasantly surprised at how bright these headlamps are and you can lower the brightness of the main LED strip as well as the side light. DO NOT throw away the little USBc cables since a regular bulky C cable might be too big so it's much easier to use the small cables that come with the headlamps. We haven't gotten a chance to do a test to see how long the batteries last but considering the cost and what we've seen so far it appears to be an excellent value. ... show more

I have used these at work and the guys really like them. For what they do, they work fine and for the price when they die -- it is not a big deal. I personally used one for working on a car for 3-days. I was somewhat excited to with the prospect to have good light and comfortable -- which it exactly was. The issue I had and is the reason I dinked it two stars is I had it fully charged and the light output was great....then... it happened... as the battery depleted it started to dim itself to a lower setting. For me I would notice I was having a hard time seeing.... I would cycle through and it was at the lowest setting. On high it would last less than10-minutes and then de-rate from there. So for general use and not needing high output longer -- it works great. When you really need to see and want it to stay on high, I am going to look for something else. ... show more
