I have several of these type knives. This one surprised me because it is smaller than any I own and it is not metal. After trying it I rather like it. The lighter weight makes it easier to use for longer projects and it fits nicely for a woman’s hand. Also came with a board which saved my cutting boards I use for my projects.     • I got extra blades and a cutting board.

I got this to help trim the fat off my minis and make them look nicer in certain areas. But the handle that the blades attach to is defective. I'm unable to screw the parts in place to even hold the blade.

    • "Precision knife" is not safe

This is very much a case of "you get what you pay for." I needed a mat and it was actually the same price to get a mat WITH the knife and extra blades, so I figured why not? Mat is great and exactly what I needed. The knife, however, is very unsafe. It is not as heavy-duty as an Exacto. The section that screws in to hold the blade in place doesn't get tight enough, and will slowly loosen and unscrew as you're working. This means the blade constantly feels loose, and there is a risk of it slipping out. The extra blades look like they can be used in a proper Exacto knife base, so overall the pack is still a pretty good value. Just be extremely careful when using the included knife base and blades for projects. ... show more
