I had spent weeks trying to find a new radio to replace the dead one in VW Jetta. Instead of spending over $400 at Crutchfield, I decided to give this one a try for a fraction of that cost. It was super easy to install and worked immediately without having to cut any wires or run special cables, which is good, since it didn't come with installation instructions. I installed the backup cam and it worked as expected for a freebee add on. The audio sound is on-par with my stock radio. I love the fact the form factor has real buttons and a volume knob, which is one of the drivers for purchasing this radio over other similarly priced units. The unit is a bit slow to boot, but is not unreasonable given it is an android based unit. Overall I am happy with the unit especially given the low price compared to other units. ... show more

I ordered it and it didn't work so I reset the whole unit over and over just for it to work for the day. They send me a new unit and said I have to install updates. How can I do that when it doesn't link my phone or wifi. I ended up putting my old stereo back in and use a Bluetooth adapter works alot better then this unit ... show more

It's a good basic radio for a basic car. I had the 90s style basic radio and wasn't looking to spend much on my little beater 2nd car Jetta. This really fit the bill. The biggest need was a backup camera and have some sort of screen to have the car feel more modern. I bought a oem style trunk handle camera and works very well with it. Once you go into settings for the ODB to read correctly, the dynamic parking lines turn with the steering wheel. It runs waze fairly decently but takes a while to load initially. So the Car Stereo looks great the Bluetooth is really bad I solved it what I did was add a auxiliary to the back of the stereo red and white aux in once I added that I got a USB Transmitter and Receiver Bluetooth 5.0, 3.5mm Wireless Bluetooth Adapter 2 in 1and added that to the female usb connector and now I have Bluetooth 5.0 and it’s great all I do is push the Audio video app on the head unit and works great I don’t have the screen mirroring the phone but I don’t really need that …if I could do it over I would of never bought this but I bought it cause it was a good price ….if your having Bluetooth problems like I did this definitely works ... show more

Car stereo works and it's very easy to install only problem I had was when I was driving back from the beach while using Spotify and Google maps the radio completely froze. I haven't been on a long road trip with both apps on so I can't confirm if it was something random or if not enough memory to run 2 apps simultaneously, either way great radio. ... show more

It was good for aweek till it started to get glitchy. Beside apps responding slow. The touch screen will stay responsive but the buttons (including on the steering wheel & volume knob) ends up being disabled. Looks good for the price but not worth it to spend for.

Installed easily, CANBUS works with car out of box but no installation instructions. Had issue with radio not turning off but spliced into harness and wired a independent accessory. Steering wheel buttons work and other settings work.

The entire kit is very easy to install. The fact that it comes with a canbus module to link to the car’s ecu is a good enough reason alone to buy. Most other radios bleed the battery, unless you cut some wires. This radio automatically shuts off due to the canbus module and requires no wire cutting(unless you want to install the backup camera).
