The first space heater I purchased was a Lasko 754200, which lasted me from Late 2015 to late 2020. The andily Space Heater has done right by me from Late 2020 to just about a couple weeks ago, at the time of this review January 21, 2025, finally stopped working. I am very pleased with this heater. I returned one heater that didn't heat at all but this one is very efficient. Even though it is recommended you don't use the heater in the bathroom that is what i am using it for, very carefully. It heats very rapidly and then I turn it off while showering. although that isn't necessary. It is a convenient size for storing out of the way when not in use. No complaints at all. ... show more

12/2022 This appliance by Andily has come down in price by 40% (have we conquered inflation?). Still, there's an argument to be made on behalf of the simpler, less powerful Amazon 500 watt space heater. The latter simply has a no-brainer on-off switch and is completely silent during operation. This Andily heater is slightly more powerful (750 watts), but it's also louder (though hardly "noisy") and has an irritating heat settings that I have yet to figure out (none of the youtube descriptions addresses it adequately). There are 3 settings which intuition tells me should become hotter as the user moves from the first to the 3rd setting. The problem: I notice no difference in heat or even sound regardless of the setting. The Amazon Cube gets the job done silently, efficiently, surely--and without guesswork concerning settings. Original review: If you want heat for yourself or your immediate space (not a medium-sized room), aim it in your direction and turn the switch to high setting (but edge the thermostat slightly "off" the maximum setting. You'll soon feel adequate heat (not toasty) unless you tip the heater or knock it over (it shuts off instantly). The sound from the fan is audible and slightly metallic but not objectionable. The fan is a decent value as currently priced, especially since the slightly smaller, less powerful (500 watt) Amazon heater is the same price. If space is a major consideration along with a next-to-silent fan, then the Amazon heater might be preferable. I prefer this more powerful heater. Mya, my cat, prefers the Amazon ceramic heater. So I'm using this in a way that it's not made to be used. I've connected a flexible dryer exhaust hose to it to space heat enclosure for my tarantulas. At first it would trip out on thermal overload because the cabinet wasn't covered so it would never reach temperature leaving the exhaust duct work to get very hot and causing the space heater to go into thermal overload switching it off. But since I covered the cabinet allowing the heat to stay in the area it works extremely well and I haven't had any problems with it turning off nor does it get hot. I've only had it for about 3 weeks but so far everything is good. ... show more
