I was looking for a handheld water bottle to keep me hydrated and fueled on shorter runs and this works great. It fits nicely into my hand and has little spots to tuck in gels should I need them.

I purchased this water bottle for my long runs, and I'm very disappointed. The hand strap slips off the bottom on virtually every run, and the bottle leaks. It is impossible to screw the lid on securely, and it causes it to leak big time. Will never purchase this brand again.

    • Would be great if it didn't leak
I had been looking for a nice form-factor bottle for form factor, and this ended up being a great fit. The size, shape, strap, nozzle design, and lack of extraneous pouches are all comfortable and just what I was hoping for. Unfortunately, after only the first two runs, I found the nozzle now leaks around the edges when it's pulled out. Meaning every time I take a normal sip, I'll be dribbling water all over my hand and face. And the strap is much less comfortable when it's wet (though it would dry pretty quickly if given the chance). I've found I can still use it if I remember to suction cup my mouth around the entire nozzle apparatus to catch any leakage, but it's pretty awkward to do, especially when running. I wouldn't mind trying Amphipod again, but would need some assurance of more robust construction than this. ... show more

Solid product and even better customer service. My third product from Amphipod and will surely not be my last. Strap is minimal but not too thin to sacrifice security. Loops for gels are a little small but I prefer not to use these anyway. Looks solid and should last a while. Does say dishwasher safe but I would recommend handwashing. ... show more
