I came across this product based on the numerous reviews that are posted on Amazon. When I bought my first one, I was immediately impressed with the packaging and extra accessories Rlarrlo had provided. The box that came with the rc was top notch. After charging the battery and taking it for a test run, I was amazed how well it drove and responded. No lagginess and man is it fast!!. Dropped in a 3S battery and immediately decided I needed another one just in case. You get so much value for the price. I would say it would cost almost double the amount if carried a Arrma logo. I could tell they borrowed a few inspirations from the aforementioned. It's almost like a 1:12 version of the Arrma Typhon series. The carbon fiber was a nice touch to give it some panache. Overall I am very pleased with the rc and would highly recommend getting one if you're into RC cars. There's a ton of youtube info on the car. I'm not the only one that's raving about it. They also have other offerings like the Ak917. It's 1:10 speed demon again with high quality parts. I know Rlarrlo is a fairly new player in the RC world. but I think they'll be around for awhile if they keep innovating. Customer service is better than average considering it's an overseas brand (Hong Kong). Check out Rlarrlo site for more selection thats not yet available on Amazon.     • Fast, geary sounding, evetually it broke without hitting anything trying to go full throttle.

So I think it's time we stopped caring about how fast these little cars are, they're faster than you can control really. The tires balloon up at high speed and that or something else makes it almost impossible to track strait. It starts to slide sideways and often just starts rolling and cartwheeling which led to me breaking the rear shock tower. It also makes a horrible grinding noise when the wheels are turning. It sounds like there's not enough grease in the diff but I'm not an expert I just know my other cars don't sound like that. But over all its a really cool little car. A little too small to race, at least when everyone else is running 1\10 scale. Would I recommend it, yeah. I think I'm going to look for something similar a little cheaper with metal shock towers. ... show more

Fast and lives up to expectations of advertising claims - however - initial purchase failed to work after just a few minutes use. But customer service was great by replacing with new without any delays. New vehicle works great and customer service exceeded expectations.

I don't think I've felt a poorer quality rc before for this money. The price is absurd for what you get, this should be a sub $150 car. The steering linkages are as sloppy and loose as I've ever seen on a new car. The "carbon fiber" chassis looks real but it's the crazy flexible, it twists like a cheap plastic chassis. I found several stripped plastic threads from bolts, likely from whoever is assembling them is using too high of torque setting on a power tool. On top of all the quality issues Rlaarlos customer service is nonexistent. Overall it's absolute garbage. If you want quality go with LC Racing, if you want a nice budget car look at WLToys.     • Uncontrollably FAAAST

This is an update to my original review titled "Will not bind." I finally gave up and open the instruction book and found out that to buying the transmitter to the receiver is to use a small paper clip tip to depress a button in the receiver. There is a very tiny hole with a very tiny button inside. You turn on the receiver, you turn on the car, then, you take a very small paper clip tip and you depress that button for 3 seconds and the transmitter and receiver will bind automatically. Ever since then I've been able to run this car wide open to see what it can do on flat ground. It is astounding to me what rlaarlo has accomplished within this price point. I grew up in RC and this is simply a marvelous human business achievement to be able to create this thing at this price point. Other than initial problems I had described above, this thing is so amazing. Materials, engineering, build quality, packaging, it's also amazing. Do note that once you install the wing you will no longer be able to use the case to store the remote control with a car. So once you install the wing, only the car will fit in the case no matter how hard you try. Also, once you install the bumper after you install the wing, you can no longer use the case for anything other than the bag of tools and instruction book. After you install the wing and after you install the bumper, the car alone without the remote, just the car alone, will no longer fit in the case. I do not aspire to run 3s at all in the future. This thing is uncontrollably fast if you said it to 100% throttle. I'm actually experiencing best driving experience right around 75 80% ------ orginal------ Brand new. Fresh box. Beautiful. Transmitter will not bind with receiver. Dead weight. I may have to return if RLAARLO does not help. Total bummer. Was excited about this, but it has so far been a dud. ... show more

Love this car!! I run at about 75% and it’s super fast and still controllable. The range on the controller is hundreds of feet. I’m 46 and haven’t bought an RC car in 33 years. This is exactly what I wanted. Great battery. Very tough fast and responsive. I could not be happier. Will try to find a way to add a video. If this is your price point I can’t think of a better car. ... show more

It's fast. Seems to be built well but overall disappointed in general performance. Squirrley at times even with turning down throttle input. Cogs at times which is something I can't seem to figure out.
