This chair is extremely comfortable and seems sturdy. The only thing that needs improvement is the cup holder attachment. It does not sit level. Other then that, I would highly recommend.

Best outdoor chair I bought, or used. I am 76. I took this chair out of the box and set it on my porch. Figured out where the straps attach, hooked up the drink holder tray which works equally on both sides. The only thing with which I needed help was the recline mechanism. So far this is a 5! Attached the chairpad, fitted the headrest pad, and put the chair to use. I especially like adjusting recline position at any point from straight up to full recline. I prefer a padded armrest. None on this chair. It takes very little time to put this chair to full use. My only point deduction is the drink holder tray. It holds a variety of cups, glasses, cans, etc. There are two drink holder cylinders. They are too large for most of the bottles or cans I buy. I can almost tip over a can while it is seated in the holder. Easy fix is to make one smaller, or include an insert to fit smaller cans/bottles. Not a major problem. Easy enough to find/make an insert. The tray's slot is perfect to hold either a phone or tablet. I am concerned about durability after reading other reviews and hope I can add the insurance after-the-fact. The chair is great, except the cushion is too hard, or not thick enough, for me. This may affect how often I use the chair. The cushion is pillowed and feels lumpy after 20 minutes or so. Too bad. It's just one issue, but might be a significant one for me. 9/4/2023. I sit in this chair 3-4 hours daily on my porch. No mechanical issues. It reclines easily pushing the footrest forward. Hands not needed. So, it's it easy to sit and get comfortable with a sandwich in one hand and a drink in the other. A softer or thicker pad is the only improvement needed. 10/7 I have used this chair daily for almost 2 months, 5-7 hours per day on my porch. No new issues. Still feel the cushion is not as soft and comfortable as I want. The chair is easy to lock at any recline position which has become a huge plus for me. I am in this chair 5-7 hours/day, changing positions frequently. I ordered a cushion to replace this one. The drink tray sits loosely and doesn't 'snap in place'. The tray should fit firmly. Cup holders should be graduated to hold more than one size cup. Most of my mugs and cups either sit loosely or are to wide to insert into the holder. Mechanically this chair remains great! You may laugh, but I did not buy this for my pool. I bought this as a cheap option for a zero gravity chair for my family room to enjoy watching TV or visiting with family. It really is comfortable and wider than most chaise lounges. As I hurt just laying down or sitting upright, this did the trick. I was not about to spend $2500 on some zero gravity recliner unless I knew it was going to work. Frankly, I am so impressed with this chaise, I have no need to replace it with an official indoor recliner. Only caveat I have is the tray. It leans and doesn’t stay in place. It will hold two cups, a cell phone and tablet all at the same time but for how long is the question. I usually have a water bottle and a phone in it. If I sit up, it shifts and it always leans to the outside from the weight. Kind of sad. I do not expect it to last long term unfortunately. There are also locks on either side of the chairs lock it in place if you do not want to shift around. Please be aware when you close this thing they automatically lock and sometimes it’s really frustrating. Trying to get the thing to unfold if you didn’t know that it was locked ... show more

    • Cozy, cushion not waterproof or sunproof
Update— this chair has been in my screened in porch, under a roof, for less than 4 months and the cushion has completely faded. It isn’t even on the side of the room by the window. Luckily, I turn the cushion over when I’m not using the chair, so only the backside has faded, but this seems a bit excessive for outdoor furniture. Original review— I wanted a cozy chair for my screened in porch, and this is perfect. I’m only 5’6” and 130 lbs, but I wanted oversized so it would feel more like a lounge chair as opposed to a lawn chair. This cushion fluffed up nicely, but it definitely is not waterproof- the fabric feels like thin cotton. It’s soft, but I’d keep it under cover. I get a lot of dust and pollen in my screened in porch, so I keep the cushion flipped over when not in use, then turn it the right way and shake when I want to sit in it. I like the pocket to keep the cushion on the headrest. The pillow and foot rest are nice. The cup holder is sketchy. I wouldn’t trust it with anything too heavy or glass. ... show more
