Amolen has excellent quality products that If I could afford to use %100 I would. This is the first time I tried the Matte products and found the same premium quality that I get when I use other Amolen fillaments. I struggled with this print for a few days using other non Matte PLA. This one achieved a near finish print but also was very friendly to sanding. When holding this print it almost feels like a cast ceramic from the weight texture. I'm very pleased with this product. I bought the matte white, black, green and blue. I set up dual color for my print. The white printed okay-ish but the matte black is unusable and destroyed the white part of the print. I kept testing the black thinking it was my settings. I tested everything within their temp range plus 10 degrees hotter. When I finally got it to stick to the bed, it did not stick to itself for layering. I even tried a simple black comb. 2 hour print. Very simple. It would not do it. I have not tried the green or blue yet and scared to even try. ... show more

Do note your buying 200g spools. so these spools are smaller than your normal 1kg spool, BUT your getting 4 colors with a nice finish. I've found reviews tend to blame the filament for issues, when it's more of a hardware issue. So after dialing in my settings to accommodate the filament, everything ran fairly smoothly (for 3d printing that is). So just make sure your machine is set close to the recommended settings, and tune from there to get the filament to work. Seems like good filament, prints good, looks good, but I don't think it's what I ordered, it's NOT translucent and I got BLACK and not green, so I had to deduct a star for messing up.

These are worthless. The "valve" on the bags is evidently just a picture of a valve -- it doesn't allow any air to escape the bag. If you place your filament spool in the bag and carefully seal it up, you can use the pump on the "valve" all day and never remove any air. You can place the bag in a vacuum chamber and pump the pressure down. The bag will simply expand until the top of the bag pops open -- no air can leave through the bogus valve. I tested several of the bags -- none of them had a functional valve. Don't waste you time and money on this worthless item. ... show more

The description says each roll is 200g. This is incorrect. It is actually closer to 150g at best. That means this filament costs about $63 per 1kg spool! Two and a half times as much as other pla brands. I won't ever buy Amolen again.
