Love my new knobs!! These make the stove look soooo much better. I’m glad that I had to replace them. The cheap plastic knobs were flimsy compared to these metal knobs. NOTE: you need to use a little force and push them on when installing.

I have a two year old Samsung gas range. It is an excellent stove. However, in one year, two of the knobs stopped turning; they have plastic backs that grip the post that has to turn, and they had cracked. I contacted Samsung, and paid $85 for one replacement knob. This time, I checked on Amazon, and have recieved, for $15, a replacement knob that fits very well, and is made of metal: it is better looking, far more durable than plastic, and just feels better as you turn the knob. That Samsung would build a fine stove and cut corners on the knobs is a disgrace, but I have just ordered a complete replacement set of the above excellent appliance knobs. ... show more

Initially liked the "heft" of the knob when i took it out of the package. When I tried to put it on the gas control valve shaft it was too tight. You cannot get it to slide down the shaft any further. If you attempt to do so, you could damage the control valve itself. It will now be near impossible to get the knob off.
