I’ve used several yarn ball winders in my day, and this one is pretty good for the cost . It stays put on the table rather than flying off because it has little rubber feet on both sides of the clamp used to hold it on the table or whatever. It winds easily and is easy to set up.

    • I want my money back
I’m either going to break it open to fix it and super glue it back together or throw the damn thing in the trash… either way it was a waste of my time and money and I wish I could get my money back. The gears need to be reset but you can’t get into it because they have conveniently blocked the screws so that I can’t even open it!!! Tell me you know your product is faulty without telling me you know your product is faulty… how ridiculous! ... show more

I needed this winder in a pinch, because mine is packed after just moving. It is horrible!! I tried many different ways to start and undid at least 10 times. Finally, I settled for a totally lopsided ball, that ha been falling apart as I use it!! Waste of time and money!!!

Easy to set up but does not correctly wind the yarn. It should crisscross and make even layers but this just goes over the same part again. I already have a larger winder and was hoping this would work for smaller amounts. It doesn’t! Don’t buy this!
