This just keeps stretching and stretching. I can only tighten the cables so much. I've had to detach this and cut my cables because it stretched so much. Now. I received my 28’x28’x28’ beige (more yellow than beige, but not a big deal for me since my house is yellow) sail shade and am having it professionally installed. However, to determine the quality of the parts (mine had the reinforced corners), I ascertained that while the corner hardware is stainless or aluminum (thus rust resistant), the cable that runs through the perimeter of the sail is NOT stainless steel and is apt to rust. We need the shade to save on our electric bill because of running our chiller as our pool will get up to 96 degrees during the day here in south Florida without it. Therefore, I will give it a try and report back if I see any rust starting to form on the cable. ... show more

Sail has excess cable sticking out on all 3 corners. This looks like a flaw or defect and seller was unresponsive. I'm not willing to return it though. Just dissapoointed cuz i feel like I was sold a reject sail. But it works and doing great job of keeping the pool cool in hot Texas sun!

    • ORDER A LARGER SIZE THAN YOU THINK
I ordered a 9x9x~12' sail shade because when I measured this size on the deck under the intended location of the sail shade, it seemed to fill the corner nicely. Wrong. You can go a lot bigger. I am ordering a 13x16x20 for a space I originally thought was 9x9. Based on my perception, I'm recommending you go bigger rather than smaller if you're not sure. The shade construction is great and it does well in wind and rain. I look forward to getting the bigger one, however. ... show more
