Top Amazon Reviews

  • XXL is actually XXL! Very soft, not bad at all.
I am not going to upload photos for this product, as so many others have already done so. I have dealt with incontinence for several years, but only recently tried incontinence underwear. I am a large-sized woman, and never thought they would actually fit me. I was given a sample of another brand's underwear (it begins with a "T"). The fit was a little tight, but close enough that I could make it work. I decided to explore what else migh be out there. So, I ordered a single package of the XXL underwear in Amazon's own brand to check it out. I've been using it for a few days now, and wanted to share my thoughts. Because, let's face it, if you are reading reviews about incontinence products, you need the real scoop, not just "it's ok". These are a light purple. No harm, no foul, but wish they had bright colors too. Why be boring, in addition to needing this product? Undies come in all kinds of colors too - why not jazz things up? The shocker was in the XXL size - they actually FIT me! I ordered the XXL based on the weight recommendations. I currently weight (shhhhhhh! Don't tell anyone else!!) around 325, give or take five that changes every week. These are actually a little too big! Never thought I would say that! I have not tried it, but I could probably do the XL size in this one. The pants part is actually very comfortable. Plenty of stretch, soft against my skin, and no itchy stuff. They are VERY comfortable to sleep in, which is what I was hoping for. The back is marked with a dark blue marking, so you don't put them on backwards. (Hey, don't laugh - I put a pair of the "T" ones on backwards once! Awkward!) Now on to some other things. THE PANTY ITSELF: There doesn't seem to be a lot of logic in the design. If I take an XXL, why do they think I would want a panty that is cut high on the leg? I DON'T! It is cut too high, and makes the tummy edges pooch. It was nice to have them go all the way to the waist though - I hate underwear that rides below belly-button area. But the legs are cut too high in the front - please fix that Solimo! THE PAD: Now to the pad - it seemed to do the job ok. I did not test it, as in once it took a hit, I didn't continue to wear it to see how much it could hold - that's a fool's game! Ha! What I DID notice, was after an overnight hit, when I went to the potty the next morning, it had not leaked, but the pad filling itself was separating, leaving open spots that would easily leak. I also had a small spot leak the day before over the panty leg edge. Not a huge deal since I was at home, put the embarrassment potential was there. The pad does go up a long way both front and back, so you are covered fairly well for the "racers" - those little pee streams that race up your crack trying to make a wet spot! Didn't have any problems with those at all. Note that the inside of the pads did NOT turn into any type of gel - all I saw was a cottony-like filling. It still did the job, but it would be nice to have a little more like a gel-pad. This also did not seem to have odor control of any kind. More about that later. THE FIT: Again, super comfortable to wear. I want to try the next size down and see if I can say the same thing. But, because of the high cut on the leg opening, it made the pad hang down pretty low. I had to push it up into place then pull up my pants. It might present a problem for someone without more mobility or flexibility to rearrange the pad into the best position. There was plenty of room in the leg openings for my meaty legs, but again, cut too high for my preferences. These were very comfy to sleep in. I've had a pair on all day today as well, giving them a try with my normal (non-exciting and mobility-limited) day. No leaks, no complaints. Best of all? No chafing! I use the ultimate size pads, the #7 teardrop ones. Those do a good job on catching urine, but they chafe my legs and inner thighs like crazy. I really hate them for that, but haven't found one that didn't. Until the panties here... no chafing, no rubbing on the chafed areas or irritating my other skin parts. AWKWARD PARTS: That high cut leg opening could potentially allow the pad to move around too much for some women. The disposal is less than graceful as well. These are big, so I've been folding them up like a contour sheet, trying to use the elastic to keep everything closed. It would not be entirely out of the question to use a diaper pail if you are going to use these on a regular basis. That brings up one other thing I noticed - odor. A couple times, I got a whiff of the pad contents. So there is no real working odor blockers that I could tell. Pretty sure my urine is not freakishly strong or unusual. So, definitely worth a try. They are super stretchy. Buy one pack and give it a try! (If Solimo was smart (HELLO SOLIMO!), they would create a sample package with one or two panties of each size, so people could figure out what would work the best for them without having to buy expensive packages and possibly be left with a lot of unusable product. Because of the stretchiness and how everyone carries their weight differently, you might need a different size than the charts show.) ... show more

  • It actually did the job
I like them. I just wish they felt a little dryer. After 2 voids, maybe 3 you should change it if you don't want to leak. But I had disposable under pads underneath me so I kind of pushed it. Especially at night when everyone was sleeping that could help me change. I also had my cycle during this time unexpectedly and it helped tremendously. Never any mess. The large fit well and I wear a size 16-18 pants with a big rear to match. I wish more came in the pack ... show more

  • Great Absorbency
I've used these the past few years when I've needed to. This particular batch, unfortunately, came through with a little too much tape showing in the groin area - so it sticks to your skin when pulling them down. Hence the four-star review. Otherwise, they are exceptionally comfortable. I actually don't feel like I'm wearing anything other than normal underwear. Additionally, you get the most for your money. Honestly, why pay the price for Depends when this works so well!!!!! ... show more

  • Good product BUT...price problem.
Been buying these for some time. They do what they are suppose to. I like them and planned on continuing to purchase. But I just discovered they have particularly doubled in price. These have never been lavendar in color. White. Was not a problem just mentioning it. 28.68 to 45.34 for XL I do not think so. Yet XXL still 24.77, which requires more material and 2 less in pack than the XL. These are not lavendar either. I will be looking for cheaper or if I must pay this increased cost it'll be another brand. ... show more

  • Price almost doubled from 1 week ago!
We tried the Amazon Basics and were very happy with the product. We needed a larger size than Depends made and these fit the bill, as well as they were slightly less expensive. I went to reorder and found that the price had doubled ($24.56 to $50.38 in a week) were now the most expensive option rather than less expensive or competitive with the brand names. I guess the Amazon Basic's is a bait and switch. Offer a product at a good price, get people committed to using that product and then double the price! ... show more

  • Endometriosis
I suffer from endo and gave up on tampons by 11, by 12 I had my first major bleed out in class over those thick always pads that had no wings. by high school it wasn't irregular for my periods to be two weeks before the bbq sauce and I found Always Infinity (my favorite brand and did two reports on) but lately after suffering my entire menstrual history have been having greater than a month long spell and I am tired. I have the washable knixs but these.. I feel in control! they have such a wide front and back absorbent layer and then beyond that in the back the paper has a coating that somewhat will prevent faint leak through (its paper so it will give at some measure), but I can sleep now on my side or stomach.. which has greatly improved my quality of life from forcing myself on my back over two towels so I don't ruin more bedding. Thank you. ... show more

  • Wonderful! Fantastic brand.
These were absolutely wonderful for postpartum. As much as the pads from the hospital help, the pads coming off during a restroom break is not something you want to mess with in the middle of the night when you’re already on only mere hours of sleep. Get these!
