Before buying these I had bought some similar ones of another brand (Sistema). I couldn't believe it when I found the other ones would *pour* out liquids when fully sealed. I took a chance on these Tritan containers from Amazon and I immediately tested them--filled with some water, put on lids, and tilted them over the sink -- not a drop leaked! I needed containers that were fully sealed against spilling as well as against air and sugar ants. These do the trick! I have mints in one of the containers, and when it is sealed you cannot smell the mints--that's excellent! Plus, I love how these are beautifully crystal clear. Great containers! I typically love Amazon Basics products but I’ve found these are extremely hard to lock closed and they’re not 100% airtight. I have to play with it multiple times to get it lined up just right in order for all 4 sides to lock in place correctly and it the “snap” to work. One has already broken because I was so frustrated, I forced it. I meal prep my salad for the week and by the end of the week, the lettuce has spoiled. I’ve found the Rubbermaid red tops to be more airtight and my lettuce lasts longer. For leftovers, these seem great but not if you’re in and out of them daily. ... show more
