We were one of those households with the pitiful stained and scarred plastic ware that you have to hide when you’re trying to heat your food at the office. We decided it was time to get some grown-up food storage containers that we didn’t have to be ashamed of. This set, while a bit pricey to us, comes with a lot of dishes in a lot of sizes. That’s a good thing. I have not yet put a dish in the oven, but I can absolutely vouch for them being microwave and dishwasher safe. And leaks? None. Zero. Zilch. I do have a few gripes. For starters, it can be hard to get the lid to snap closed all the way. I have gone many rounds with these lids. A few edges of the glassware have chipped, which is a bit surprising. Fortunately the chips are small and don’t have sharp edges, so we can continue to use them. Last but not least, we’ve had to change our dish behavior after buying these. Before, we could just toss the plastic stuff into our “generic Tupperware” cabinet and slam the door. Now, we have to take more care in putting them away. We also have to be more mindful when taking them to work such that we don’t slam them down by accident or leave them in a random break room fridge.
