Purchased this to get some use out of the space on top of the crate for my pups stuff. I like it a lot. The wood is sturdy heavy and thick. I am not using the back cover because I already have crate covers but I can see how it would come in handy and it is very appreciated that’s for sure. It’s little things like that! I do wish that there was another way to attach it to the crate. Since I have the other crate cover on I just sit it on top and it’s not actually attached but the crate is also out of the way so it’s not getting bumped etc etc. I would purchase this product again hands down. ... show more

Great topper for my dog's crate. It fits perfectly! It's looks awesome and it's sturdy too. Nice smooth surface. I place my pets accessories on top. My cat love having another place to lounge and to get away from the dog. I haven't exposed it to moisture so I can't say if it's prone to damage from that. So far it's not easily scratched either. While mine did not arrive with the curtain thing I wouldn’t have used it anyway. Relatively lightweight, easy to clean, and common sense to install - I only wish it had lipped edges to prevent the possibility of it being pushed or knocked off the top of the cage. It’s simply a flag piece you set on top but there’s nothing holding it there ... show more

I have a large dog and he has a large crate. I tried the furniture style ones but they are too expensive or too small. I was excited when I saw this at a great price, I instantly measured the crate and placed my order-2 days later and it was here! The box had hard plastic corner protectors taped down and when I unwrapped the box I was pleasantly pleased to see that the entire thing was surrounded with styrofoam for protection during shipping. Then I saw the actual board had additional corner protectors! This is a heavy, solid piece that has transformed an otherwise ugly metal crate into a useful and beautiful table. It comes with tape/Velcro pieces for attaching the top to the crate to stop it from sliding, but I have it in a corner and don’t need to use them. The cloth piece with tassels is not as long as I would like but I might have taped it too high up. Anyway, I love this! It’s exactly what I needed and is a beautiful high quality product. I should have taken pictures before I put the elf on it but I think you get the idea, I have the fabric on the back for now because I’m going to be moving it and I want my pup to get used to the top. ... show more
