After leaving the set in the sun for a few hours to soften it up, it went onto the cushion of our scooter easily and snapped on perfectly. My only wish is that the flaps on the lower cushion to cover the rear corners were slightly larger, as they come untucked after a while. A minor complaint, and one easily dealt with. The cover fits well and looks like the original seat. Just an FYI for everyone ... this is a cover no padding is included. The cover isn't as "slick" as the old one. It makes just a bit more difficult to slide over off of it.

I purchased a Go-Go Elite for a family member years ago. The mobility device still works great, but the seat cover had become worn exposing the foam rubber padding. I ordered this back and seat cover replacement with the expectation that it wouldn't fit right and I would need to send it back. But because Amazon has such a good return policy and makes the process so easy, I decided to give it a try. I am so pleased with the product (and myself for installing it all on my own.) There are a few fold creases but they will disappear in time. I will say I had to tug pretty hard to pull on the new covers, but that isn't a fault in the product. It just means they fit perfectly. I am in my 70s and still have strength in my hands, although I am not as strong as I used to be. Someone with less strength might need help getting them on. I did put them on immediately after bringing them in from the cold, but I expect they would go on even easier if opened and left in a warm house to soften up a bit. I also took the seat off the scooter and worked on it on my kitchen counter. I would highly reccommend this product. ... show more

Ordered this as a set- it was advertised as a set of seat covers- top & bottom. Nope only a top! Good quality but I paid too much just for a top. I would send it back but we really needed new covers.

For me, this one is just OK. After 10 years, the original seat covers on my Go-Go Elite Traveler Plus were in sad shape, with many long cracks down to the cloth backing. The price of this set was only about a third of the OEM's, so am giving it a try. The material is polyurethane, rather than vinyl, and does have a fabric backer. There is a slight grain pattern, and it's attractive enough. However, it may be slightly more difficult for the user to slide between this and another surface, and that may be a consideration. Much more like smooth vinyl than cloth upholstery, but still a bit more grippy than the vinyl. It's also a bit more stretchy than vinyl, and installation was pretty easy. For those reviewers who have complained about the snaps on the seat back cover not lining up, that seems to be a function of the curves in the seat foam. For me, the trick was to do the snap on each end first, then the one in the middle. This left enough room in the middle to tug each end into place. The seat back cover does have a pocket like the original's. The seat bottom cover uses two straps, so snap alignment was not an issue. Fit of the seat back cover was good - much more snug than the photo in the product listing. However, the bottom was not, and it did look like the picture, maybe even a bit worse. The straps are tight, and the cover doesn't move around, but it can't be described as a well-tailored fit. Of course, when I'm sitting in it, no one notices; but, if I were fixing up this scooter for someone else, I'd have to return this product and get the OEM set. This cover set does not come with the seat foam, and most others don't either. The foam on mine is glued to the seat pan. The side bolsters had broken loose, though, but the foam glue that my wife uses in crafts secured it again. Quick fix. Another thing I've noticed - the original seat bottom cover had a flap at the back on each side, presumably to keep dirt out of the foam and mechanism. The seat hinge mechanism has curved extensions molded into the pan pieces on each side, which slide apart, then back together, as the seat back is folded forward then returned. The new cover also has the flaps, but, apparently because the PU is not as stiff as vinyl, they get caught in the mechanism and keep the seatback from returning to normal position. I had to tuck them in under the bottom cover, defeating their purpose. Probably no big deal, but something to mention. The softer PU may not harden and crack like the OEM covers, but too early to tell. Also, it's not clear how well it will hold up to disinfectants, if that's an issue. So, if you're OK with its quirks, this set seems to offer relatively good value. Otherwise, you'd probably be happier with an OEM set or its equivalent. ... show more
