One thing I don't like is the length, I wish it was longer to give more options to lock it to. I love the fact you can buy multiple and have them keyed together, but at @$100 a piece it sure hurts the pocketbook. The product itself is indestructible making it the perfect lock for an expensive bike.

I initially received a lock that was in an opened package and the keys were missing. I couldn’t return it or ask for a refund through Amazon because the delivery driver had not marked that it was delivered, and it was officially still in transit. I called Altor and explained the situation. They were absolutely willing to work directly with me and get me a new lock. But the next day a second lock appeared, in perfect condition with a set of keys. And this time, the Amazon delivery person marked the set as delivered. Weird. The bike lock is fantastic. It looks really good your bike and fits nicely into the holder. I’ll probably buy a second to stick in my backpack. It’s much lighter than the NY U-lock.

This works perfect for my kick scooter. And it fits perfectly in my backpack. Not too heavy. I do have to say that it looked slightly used when I got it. No big deal, but it should have been sold as such.

    • Easy to use, but not without drawbacks

Overall, I like the design of the lock better than the other folding lock designs. The hinges are much more secure, it uses good steel, and the lock mechanism and design are solid. The drawbacks are that it's only four lengths instead of five or six. This does inhibit the overall ease of use and compatibility with mechanisms it can be locked to, but it's still a great lock. ... show more
