The design is great, the material is not. These would be a home run if the springs were stainless instead of zink plated steel. Left rust stains on my deck after one rain. *** Update**** Removed the springs and just use the aluminum part now. Seems to work if you keep upward tension on them. Spring wire at top of unit (top 2 black units in my photo) not crimped as in website photo or those I purchased from other vendors (bottom 2 units in my photo). This causes the spring wire to catch on the cord you run through top hole making it difficult to twist in place and damages cord causing it to fray. ... show more

Ordered this to setup a tent in my newly renovated deck. Didn't want to make any holes in composite decking and this seams to be what I needed. Unfortunately the tent I have not exactly meant to be installed this way so had to do some creative engineering but it works.
