  • Durable, reliable, no buyer's remorse
I bought this set of folding solar panels almost a year ago, to use when camping. It got its most intensive use during a month long trip to the desert Southwest when I boondocked in my minivan. The efficiency of this unit was satisfactory, under dusty real life conditions. The panels got dusty and didn't get cleaned every day, but they never failed. They charged an Allpowers S1500, as well as a Jackery 1000. These two power stations kept my 12v fridge and other devices running, so I had safe food and lights out there. I found the panels a little awkward to unfold and set up by myself, as I'd get one leg opened to start propping the thing up, but often when I went to open another leg, the first one would close again. But it wasn't a major issue at all. Once I got them deployed, the built in legs kept the panels propped up. For additional stability, I sometimes used something to help prop the panels up from behind - including the power station itself when that was practical. ... show more

  • Works fine!
I'm using this in conjunction with a 50ah Li battery to power my field day/emergency communications for Amateur Radio. It works as expected. As I expected, on a sunny day with a slight bit of haze, the foldup solar panels total voltage output was 45vdc. You will want to use a solar charge controller with this to power/recharge your devices, it is not meant to hook up directly. the only gripe I have with this foldup solar pannel is the kickstands that hold the panels at the right angle to the sun, it's kind of like herding a bunch of cats, but otherwise I'm impressed with the performance of the solar panels. The images are of me at home testing my Amateur Radio Field Day gear being powered by the solar panels. ... show more

  • Listed Output Voltage is Incorrect
I was searching for solar panels to set up in a two X 200-watt panel series with output under 50 volts for recharging a solar generator. YouTube reviews of the AllPOWERS SP035 panels were positive with output specs of 23.5 volts each would be perfect. Black Friday prices were great so I ordered one to evaluate. Received it in a few days and they seem like good quality, weather did not permit any testing. Problem was the panel and the manual that came with it both stated output of 50.6 volts. Which was too high to use. I contacted AllPOWERS and they assured me the 23.5v spec seen online was accurate. I suggested they correct the wrong information on the panel and in the manual, place a blurb on the website that some products had shipped with incorrect voltage values printed and show the correct voltage for the SP035. Based on their assurance of 23.5v was accurate I ordered another one to take advantage of sale prices. Second panel came with the same 50.6v listing. Weather improved and I had the chance to test the output voltage on both panels during hazy sunlight. One panel was 46.8 and the other one was 47.5. This seems to confirm the higher output limit of 50.6v and makes them unusable for my purpose. Guess I will now have to return them and find something else at non sale prices. Would have rated at 4-5 stars but the incorrect voltage information and company response about it will lower to 3. ... show more

  • Works as it should👌
Bought this to pair with my Bluetti EB3A, panel is said to have a working voltage of 20v and the EB3A has an input amperage of 8.5a so I figured the very best I could get with all variables at their peak would be about 170 watts input. First day with clear skies I got a max of 164 watts in. I've had out in the yard and on a couple camping trips so far and it does what I need it to do, keeps the Bluetti charged and quick. I don't seek out perfect angles or sun, I just set it out with a rough estimate of direct sunlight and it consistently gives me 110-150w depending on cloud cover which is more than adequate to keep a small power station like that topped off while running a 12v fridge and charging all your camp lighting needs as well as other electronics with no worries. With a power station that would except more amps in, I would Imagine this panel would come close to the 200watts it's advertised at. Never expect that from any panel when looking to buy tho. Build quality seems decent and if cared for properly it should be a good travel companion for anyone who has the need to charge a power station👍 If I had to say a couple cons I would say that the length of cable could be longer and that the legs allowed for more angle adjustment to lean back the panel further but performance wise it does its job. ... show more

  • Solid Panels & Good Solar Output
This is my first experience with solar panels, and I am happy so far. The build quality is good. The stands are just a little awkward to manage. On this partly-cloudy day without fine adjustments to get maximum sun, my Anker power station indicated I was receiving around 90 watts of power on average. I saw the input meter peak to around 150 watts as the clouds cleared. I suspect I could get around 160 watts with a little more sunlight and adjusting the panels to face the sun better. This is pretty good for a 200W portable panel. I plan to use this to charge my power station during extended power outages or light camping. It should suit this purpose just fine, and the price is very competitive. ... show more
